How we comply with the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor for fitness clubs

Alex Fitness Gyms prepared and open throughout Russia. Finally, we waited until we can return to training again. Only the new reality dictates other rules. We will tell you how the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor are met in our fitness clubs and gyms. We will also share 5 personal hygiene tips that will definitely come in handy.

Let’s start with the implementation of the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor:

  1. In all fitness clubs of our network, a responsible employee has been appointed. He will monitor the implementation of the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor.
  2. Before the start of the shift, the temperature of all coaches and club employees is measured in a non-contact way. If a temperature and (or) the slightest signs of respiratory infections (cough, runny nose) are detected, club employees are not allowed to work with visitors and are sent to home quarantine. Temperature measurements are carried out at least twice a day – in the morning and in the evening.
  3. All Alex Fitness fitness clubs are provided with disposable masks and gloves, as well as the necessary disinfectants – wipes and antiseptics.
  4. Eating is prohibited in the workplace. For eating, we have specially designated rooms, which are equipped with sinks for washing hands and dispensers with antiseptics.
  5. In gyms, work offices and other premises (toilets, showers, changing rooms and swimming pools), wet general cleaning is carried out daily using disinfectants. We also carefully monitor the operation of ventilation systems.
  6. In the sports halls, air disinfection measures are carried out in accordance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor for fitness clubs. A centralized collection of used masks and gloves has been organized. Strengthened control over the quality of water in pools.

Personal hygiene rules when visiting a fitness club

Now let’s move on to the basic rules of personal hygiene when visiting fitness clubs.

Rule 1: Maintain social distancing

To make it easier for you, we placed the notes with a bright ribbon. You’ll see these restraints in locker rooms, gyms, and even rest areas after workouts. At the same time, it is extremely important that you control the distance yourself. The easiest guideline is arm’s length.

Rule 2. Bring your mask

Of course, you don’t need to wear a mask – during exercise, the respiratory rate increases, and the mask will interfere. The mask will need to be worn at the entrance to the club and in the dressing room area. We have placed antiseptics throughout the clubs.

Rule 3. Take your temperature before going to the fitness club

If you find yourself with a fever (as well as symptoms of a cold), then it is better to limit visits to crowded places. This way you will protect not only yourself, but also others. If you feel unwell, consult a doctor immediately.

Rule 4. Take water with you

Yes, our clubs have drinking fountains. Only we have blocked them: firstly, because of them, a queue is created. Secondly, remember about metal surfaces. So take water with you. This will make it safer and more convenient.

Rule 5: Use disposable gloves before and after class

Disposable gloves will protect the skin of the hands from infection. Use them in the locker room, before and after class. This way you won’t come into contact with the surfaces. If you forgot to bring disposable gloves with you, contact the club employee and you will receive them.
