  • A fresh stain can be removed by treating it with any dish detergent you use. Such formulations are completely safe for the fabric. You just need to put a few drops on the surface of the dirt and rub it with a brush. Then soak the item in lukewarm water. Then rinse and wash with the addition of stain remover.
  • Heavily soiled fabrics may be washed with a stain remover. Read the instructions carefully before use.
  • A mixture of ammonia and turpentine works well. You need to take equal volumes. Before use, the composition is slightly heated, a sponge is applied to the surface of the oil stain. Washing is first carried out manually using ordinary soap and only after that the item is sent to the automatic machine.
  • The next thing you can easily wash off fuel oil is fir oil. Before starting the removal procedure, a small piece of dense fabric should be placed under the stain. If nothing is at hand, then a cotton pad will do. Now take a clean cotton pad, moisten it with oil and gently treat the surface of the stain. Replace the disc as it gets dirty. Carry out processing until the contamination is completely removed. Then the thing should be washed with laundry soap and washed in an “automatic machine” at the maximum temperature allowed for this fabric.
  • A combination of baking soda and turpentine is another option for removing oil stains. Turpentine needs to be heated and poured onto the contaminated area. After half an hour, pour baking soda on the same area. Pour water over it and grind. Then rinse the item under running water and wash as usual.
  • You can get rid of drops of fuel oil with an iron. Place a few paper towels under the stain and the same amount on top. Then warm up the paper with an iron, changing it as needed. The remaining small amount of fuel oil can be removed with fir oil.
  • Tar soap works well on delicate fabrics. First, the item must be soaked in warm water with the addition of detergent. After that, treat the stain with tar soap, rinse well and dry.
