Any berries are tasty and healthy. But when it comes to berry stains on clothes, this can be a problem, especially if the stain is old. Blueberry stains are unfortunately one of the most difficult to remove when not tackled in time, but there are several effective ways, and we are happy to share them.
How to clean a fresh blueberry stain?
If the stain was put on clothes recently, it is much easier to deal with it “in hot pursuit”. In the event that an unfortunate nuisance happened right before your eyes, or the stain has not yet dried up, you should not be upset ahead of time if you have access to hot water. Steep boiling water will help remove the blueberry stain.
Boil water. While it is heating, rinse the stain thoroughly under running cold water. The blueberry trail will immediately brighten.
Carefully wring out the product. Spread out in the sink so that the stain does not come into contact with the rest of the fabric.
Gently pour boiling water over the contaminated area of clothing. The stain will gradually disappear.
Wash the product in any convenient way.
This method is suitable for either white or strongly colored items. Otherwise, the painted material may simply not withstand contact with hot water: the product will lose its appearance.
How to wash blueberries from white clothes?
White things are a separate category of clothing, since it is on the fabric of this color that the slightest dirt and unsuccessful attempts to remove them are visible. How to effectively wash blueberries from white clothes? There are several ways.

The stain usually begins to lighten right before your eyes. But for some things, ordinary chlorine may not be suitable (for example, for a thin blouse).
Method No. 2. Oxygen bleach. This is a more gentle option that will allow you not to be afraid of damage to the material. First, soak the stained area in cold water, wring it out lightly, and pour bleach over the stain. Leave to act for 15 minutes. If this is not enough, pour hot water into a basin, pour 2 caps of bleach there and soak in this composition for a couple of hours. After washing the item in the washing machine with a special powder.
You can use oxygen bleach in other ways. Pour powdered bleach onto the water-soaked stain. Leave for 20 minutes. Then gently wipe the treated area. Pour powder and bleach into the washing machine in equal amounts. Start washing at 60 0C.
