Awakening dormant hair follicles with nutrition
Review your diet. It must contain foods rich in vitamin B9. This element is found in cheeses, cottage cheese, brewer’s yeast, fish, legumes, etc. Vitamin C is also responsible for strengthening the bulbs and activating hair growth. It is present in sauerkraut, citrus fruits, rose hips, black currants and other products. And curls need zinc, iodine, iron, vitamin E and other valuable elements.
Do not overuse diets: they can negatively affect the condition of your hair.
How to wake up hair follicles with massage
Massage every time you wash your hair. Gently run your fingers over the scalp while applying gentle pressure (direction of movement: from the forehead to the back of the head). Then, in the same direction, perform vibrating movements with your fingers. Do this massage in the morning and evening. The whole procedure should take no more than 5 minutes.
Folk remedies that awaken hair roots
The tincture of red capsicum has proven itself to be excellent. To prepare it, take 1 tbsp. chopped main component, fill it with 150 g of vodka and leave for a week in a cool, shaded place. Immediately before use, dilute 10 g of pepper tincture with 100 g of water and rub this solution into the scalp. Wash off after 2-3 hours. The cosmetic product prepared according to this recipe awakens the “dormant” bulbs, increases blood circulation in the scalp and thus stimulates the intensive growth of new hair.
A garlic-onion mixture has a similar effect on hair follicles. The recipe for this remedy is as follows: mix 2 tbsp. onion juice with 1 tbsp. aloe juice and 1 tbsp. garlic juice. After that, enrich the composition with the yolk of a chicken egg, 1 tsp. mustard powder and 1 tbsp. natural honey. Then dilute the resulting mixture with a little warm water and apply the product to the root system and along the entire length of the strands. Put on a rubber cap on top and warm your head by wrapping a terry towel. Rinse off after 50 minutes.
Birch buds and leaves have a beneficial effect on the growth of curls. Take a glass of crushed dry leaves and buds and fill with a liter of water. Boil the solution and leave it for 1–1,5 hours. Use it regularly to rinse your curls after shampooing.
