The rapid spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and the introduction of a number of restrictions in the country meant that medical facilities also had to reorganize their work. For this reason, we decided to take a look at the operation of medical facilities, answering the most current questions.

Disturbing symptoms that occur together include: dry cough, shortness of breath and high fever (over 38 degrees Celsius). Some patients also developed muscle pain, sore throat, fatigue, diarrhea and vomiting, which should also be reported to the consultant receiving the application.

Patients with symptoms of the COVID-19 coronavirus are admitted to infectious diseases departments in hospitals across the country. The list of medical facilities is available here.
Due to the risk of contracting the COVID-19 coronavirus, which is transmitted by airborne droplets, the best solution is to use an e-visit. During teleconsultations or videoconferences, the doctor may issue an e-prescription and discuss the existing ailments with the patient. In some medical facilities, however, it is possible to make an appointment – this only applies to emergencies (earache, toothache). However, you should remember to contact the clinic by phone.
For the sake of safety, however, it is worth using the e-visit offers, made available by many institutions, which will allow you to contact your doctor without having to contact other patients. The offer of e-visits with both GPs and specialists can be found at medonetmarket.pl.
What changes have occurred in the operation of medical facilities?
Most medical facilities decided to provide on-line advice (chat with a doctor or teleconsultation). In order to find out about the operation of the selected clinic, it is best to call the hotline to find out if a given specialist is admitting it and when it is possible to make an e-visit.
What precautions should I take when going to the clinic?
Before entering the office, the patient’s temperature is measured. You should also disinfect your hands and keep a distance from other people in the corridor. Some medical facilities also ask you to fill out an information sheet.

In the office, the doctor can measure the patient’s temperature. As a security measure, before the visit, we may be asked to fill in a card with basic personal data.
In the current situation, e-visit is one of the most preferred forms of virtual meetings between the patient and the doctor. This is especially true for those people who need a prescription for the next series of medications. As part of the e-visit, you can choose the preferred form of contact: chat with a doctor, phone call or videoconference.

How to make an e-visit?
To make an e-visit, log in to the system of a given medical facility, and then select the dedicated icon for the e-visit. Then we choose a specialist and a convenient time when the doctor can call us or talk to us on the chat. The next step is to make a payment to the bank account of the selected facility (in the case of people who do not have a specific medical package purchased).
The purchase of a television visit with a specialist is possible through the medonetmarket.pl platform, which aggregates offers of e-visits with doctors.
What is the teleportation at the clinic?
Teleportada consists of a telephone conversation with the doctor. The specialist will call you at the time we choose. During the interview, please tell about the medical problem. After diagnosing the disease, a specialist may issue an e-prescription.
Who gives teleportation?
The doctors who most often provide teleportation during e-visits are:
- primary care physician, i.e. family physician;
- internist;
- allergist;
- dermatologist;

Telephone e-release – how does it work?
During an epidemic, it is possible to obtain a medical certificate on-line. This primarily applies to people under home quarantine who are unable to do their work at home. You can also call the medical facility directly to arrange an e-visit with a doctor who will issue a sick leave based on an interview with the patient.
How much does an e-visit cost?
The cost of an e-visit is usually lower than a standard visit. A detailed price list is available on the websites of medical institutions. Before the scheduled e-visit, you can also call the clinic to find out the price of the selected consultation. However, it should be remembered that the working hours of selected facilities have been partially changed.
What does an e-prescription look like from a doctor?
An e-prescription is a replacement for a traditional prescription. Currently, it is possible to provide the number assigned to a given electronic prescription in order to facilitate customer service in pharmacies. On the same principle, you can buy drugs for quarantined people who had to decide on an online consultation with a doctor.

Can pregnant women see a doctor?
Pregnant women should avoid visiting clinics to protect themselves from potential COVID-19 infection. In most medical facilities, a gynecologist gives telephone advice.

Can seniors visit a doctor?
Seniors who are at high risk of contracting the COVID-19 coronavirus due to comorbidities should not leave home. For them, a better solution is to use teleportation as well. If the elderly person does not have access to the Internet, they should ask their family or closest neighbors for help in filling in the form on the website.

Can I see a doctor with my baby?
As in the case of pregnant women and seniors, it is inadvisable to go to the doctor with the child. In an emergency (e.g. sudden diarrhea in a child), it is best to use teleport advice, consulting your family doctor.
What tests cannot be performed at the clinic at the moment?
It is not possible to undergo preventive examinations at the moment. Vaccinations for children and adolescents have been suspended.
