Pink water

You can buy rose water at a specialty shop for aromas and Asian spices. Rose water is similar to vanilla: it can be used in recipes with careful care. Both of these essences are characterized by bitterness, so it is better to combine the aroma of roses with other flavors: chocolate, coffee, zest and bitter spices such as cloves. In Spain, a sweet version of ahoblanco soup is prepared, where rose water and honey are added instead of garlic and salt.

Rose and almond

In France, almond pink syrup is sold, which tastes somewhat like Amaretto. The syrup is used to prepare summer cocktails based on liqueur and other alcoholic beverages. Almond pink syrup is mixed with rum, lime, orange liqueur and mint or pastis. In Iran, a dessert is prepared for the holidays – almond slices covered with flavored rose water and sugar.

Rose and melon

Making an Indian dessert at home using a rose is very easy. Cut and peel a ripe melon from the seeds, cut the balls out of the pulp with a special spoon. Place the melon balls in the pink syrup and place in a cool place for a while to soak in the aroma.

Rose and coffee

Bitter aromas very well drown out the spicy sweetness of the flowers. Therefore, marmalade or delight flavored with rose water can be served with freshly brewed coffee.

Rose and cucumbers

In Britain, a gin-based cocktail is served with chopped cucumbers and a few drops of rose water. It turns out very fresh and sweet, just right for a hot party or picnics.

Rose and lemon

Floral notes are always favorably set off by citrus acidity. Rose water goes well with lemon zest and juice. In Persia, the famous faloudé dessert is made from crushed mountain ice soaked in rose-lemon water.

Rose and apple

Apple desserts, even an ordinary charlotte, can sparkle with new colors if rose water is added to them. The incredible smell and sugary taste will win the heart of any sweet tooth.

And again the bitter taste in a successful duet with a sweet rose. Pink fondant chocolates are a classic combination popular around the world. Make a chocolate-colored ice cream with milk, yolks, sugar and a few drops of rose water.
