Valery Neretin is sure that hardening should be started in winter: then the water is colder, and the air is cleaner.

You can adapt this recipe for a city dweller. Every morning and evening, perform the necessary hygiene procedures while standing in a “pool” of ice water. The main concern of all mothers and grandmothers is that the child does not freeze. Therefore, very often kids on the street resemble “cabbage”. Meanwhile, a child is much less likely to freeze than an adult: after all, children move much more actively.

“The way Russian mothers wrap up their children is very surprising to foreigners. Indeed, colds are often the result of elementary overheating. What to do? Include common sense! You need to dress the child according to the weather and taking into account physical activity. Take your child to the garden in the morning – it’s still cool, you dressed him warmly. 3. Sleep with the window open

Much has been said about the benefits of fresh air for sleep. But we are happy to use this advice in the summer. In winter, all the windows in the child’s room are sealed. What if a draft?

Therefore, it is so important for the quality rest and health of our body to provide an influx of fresh air during sleep. I recommend sleeping with the window open at any time of the year. 4. Minimize your medication intake

If, nevertheless, the baby gets sick, this is not a reason to refuse hardening. Valery Neretin believes that a cold child can also be tempered.

“As soon as a child’s temperature rises, parents immediately begin to bring it down with the help of medication. But science has proven that at temperatures from 38,5 to 39,5, the body produces interferon – the basis of our immunity. Therefore, you do not need to do anything with temperatures up to 39,5. If higher, try lowering it without medication. Give your baby a cold drink, undress, rub with a hot towel and wrap in a cold sheet. Or pour cold water over the child’s head. You need to pour it over quickly – in 3-5 seconds. And a remedy for temperature, and hardening at the same time. “

Self-healing is not only about hardening. It is also adequate physical activity, work with the mind, changing habits, even in matters of nutrition.
