PSYchology

There are situations when it is necessary to turn to state authorities for help. Most often, even the very thought of it causes a flurry of negative emotions and experiences. How to do it in such a way that you can get help as efficiently and simply as possible?

You need to follow a few simple rules. About them now and will be discussed.

Rule 1. Employees of the housing office are people too.

And not monsters whose highest dream is to humiliate you, load you with stupid work and send you to search the basements for the workers you need. Treat them like people, and even better, like good friends. I’ll explain why. Imagine a situation. Call to the Housing Office. You already know in advance that you have to talk with a crocodile and a monster and prepare accordingly. Good. Then now please imagine that you are walking towards an evil person, whose main goal is to humiliate and break you, trample on your feelings and, in general, mock you in every possible way. You will not be able to relax even for a moment — otherwise the monster will publicly abuse you. You cannot lose your position even for a moment — if you step back even a step, you will lose and everyone will make fun of you … Have you imagined? Well presented? Now look at yourself in the mirror. Tell me, is it possible to agree on something with this person? Apparently not…

But let’s say that a person approaches you with the same face as you have now. Will you respond with warmth, support, help? It must be assumed that if there are not several dozen positive trainings behind your back, then no.

The same thing happens when you are seen or listened to by employees of the housing office. Maybe you say the most correct words, but your image, your actions, your posture — everything says the opposite. And people treat any kind of non-verbalism extremely carefully. So it turns out whoever came with the sword, he suffered from the sword.

What to do?

Before you call, write or go, relax: let there be no unnecessary emotions in your body that will interfere with you. Take 10 long breaths, smile. Imagine that you are going to a good friend who is now working in the Housing Office. HE will definitely listen to you carefully, help you with pleasure — you are friends, right? By the way, you haven’t seen each other for a long time! Can you imagine how bored you are? And finally you have a reason to meet! It’s even nice! And you will go towards him smiling, opening your arms, giving joy, as you usually greet your wonderful friends … You can again go to the mirror. And rejoice at how your face has changed.

So, your rule: when going on an unpleasant date, imagine that your friends are waiting for you there.
