Summer weather is conducive to rest or holiday trips, but it is not always beneficial for your skin. Specific conditions, such as high temperature or strong UV radiation, cause the skin to dry out and undergo various types of degenerative processes. To keep it in good condition, it is worth remembering a few rules of skin care in the summer.
Cream spf 50 and other filters
The basic way to deal with excess sun during the summer and skin care is to use creams with a UV filter. It is worth bearing in mind the level of protection with which the product has been marked. It is defined by the abbreviation SPF, which in practice refers to the ability to prevent sunburn thanks to the content of UVA and UVB filters. On average, a sunburn appears on the skin after about a quarter of an hour, which is why the number after the abbreviation SPF is a multiple of 15 minutes. And yes cream spf 50 allows you to stay in the sun for 12 hours and 30 minutes (50×15 minutes). And though sunscreen is essential, you cannot go from extreme to extreme – the sun’s rays are necessary for the proper functioning of the body. The sun supports the production of vitamin D and affects your well-being every day.
Daily skin hydration
At high temperatures, thermoregulatory processes are accelerated, which means that larger amounts of water are excreted from the body. This results in drying of the skin and weakening its firmness and appearance. Severe dehydration is unfavorable to health and may even lead to fainting or the need to administer electrolytes intravenously. To prevent these processes, you should consume increased amounts of water (up to 3 liters each day) and moisturize the skin from the outside – systematically, of course. The best body lotion is one that contains natural ingredients and is safe to use – it should not cause allergic reactions or other adverse effects. Moisturizing cream should be applied to the whole body, which prevents such unsightly ailments as, for example cracked heels.
Skin regeneration
It is also an important element of care during the summer. In the case of micro-damage to the skin or other disorders resulting from the sun’s rays, regenerating gels and creams should be used. They affect the nutrition of the epidermis and its condition, while strengthening its structure. Such properties also have, for example, a cream for cracked heels.
What else do you need to remember?
Sunscreen or moisturizing and skin regeneration These are the absolute basics, but remember that this is not all you can do to take care of your complexion in the warmer months. Due to increased sweating, you lose many vitamins and minerals. The simplest and at the same time the best way to supplement them is a balanced menu. It is good to remember about eating seasonal fruits and vegetables. Pay special attention to those rich in vitamins A, C and E and biotin. These ingredients have the greatest impact on the condition of the skin and affect the presence of a natural barrier against harmful ingredients. Importantly, biotin is also contained in eggs and whole grain products. In addition, remember about citrus and strawberries (vitamin C), dairy products and carrots (vitamin A) and nuts and leafy vegetables (vitamin E).
