How to take care of your face after cosmetic procedures: photos, details
Cosmetic procedures make us beauties, but after some of them the skin needs special care.
It turns out that after visiting a beautician, you must follow some rules for facial skin care. So you can protect yourself from various skin problems. Beautician Anna Puzakova told Woman’s Day what troubles await you if you neglect these rules.
Winter is the perfect time for exfoliation. For the most effective – acidic – we go to a beautician. It removes fine wrinkles, pigmentation, post-acne, oily sheen and enlarged pores. But he has a rehabilitation period in which there are many “no”.
One of the most important conditions is to avoid the bright sun. That is why middle peels are not done in summer and spring – there is a high risk of getting skin hyperpigmentation. Make it a rule: before going outside, even in winter, apply sunscreen with SPF filter at least 30. Especially after the first couple of months after the procedure. Ideally, the cream should contain mineral filters – they will reduce the risk of an allergic reaction.
Also after peeling you can not visit the bathhouse, sauna and take a hot bath… The fact is that during this period the skin is not protected – all the body’s forces are thrown into its regeneration. And high humidity and temperature are a breeding ground for microbes and bacteria. In such conditions, it is easy to pick up an infection, and then inflammation and suppuration will have to be treated with antifungal drugs. And the most terrible consequence: after peeling, particles of chemical substances remain inside the skin for some time, which are activated at high temperatures. This can lead to severe burns and an allergic reaction.
The pool is also contraindicated due to the chlorine content in the water, there is a risk of infection, burns or dry skin.
Also the first five days after the procedure it is forbidden to play sports… Because along with sweat, our body gets rid of toxins that can settle on the defenseless “new” skin – this guarantees irritation and suppuration.
One “no” after mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is an injection of a medicinal product under the skin (its composition depends on the indications). It is very effective, but after it there are limitations: in no case you can not do any cosmetic procedures like peeling, cleansing and even depilation. At best, they will undo the effect. At worst, they will cause allergies and inflammation. Indeed, in the first time after mesotherapy, rehabilitation processes take place in the skin. Any interference can have a negative impact.
4 “no” after mechanical cleaning
Before the procedure, make sure that your face is thoroughly cleaned before the procedure, and the beautician disinfected his hands or a special spoon. If you neglect this simple but important rule, an infection or bacteria can be introduced into the skin. Then you will have to be treated for a long time for a subcutaneous tick, acne or other misfortunes.
After mechanical cleaning, there are a lot of scars and redness, so post-care should be serious:
– you cannot rub your face with your hands;
– disinfectants and sedatives should be applied to the skin (if there is a Darsonval physiotherapy apparatus, you can use it);
– do not paint and wash with tap water for 24 hours, so that an infection does not get into open pores;
– you also need to wash yourself according to the rules – only with specially selected products for your skin type.
6 “no” after electrolysis
With the wrong care after electrolysis, age spots are the best thing that can happen to you. Other complications: suppuration, scars, purulent inflammation, etc.
You must follow absolutely all the prescriptions:
– it is advisable not to wet the skin on the first day;
– wipe your face with a special product twice a day;
– do not touch the affected area with your hands for at least 48 hours;
– make sure that perfumes, deodorants do not fall on it and that there is no friction on clothes;
– until the skin is completely healed, do not sunbathe;
– do not take a hot shower, do not swim in the pool or open water.
