How to stretch the tunnel? Video
Not only beauty, but also fashion requires certain sacrifices. On the streets, you can increasingly see young people with large holes in their earlobes, called tunnels. Tunnels are punctures in the ears, into which special earrings with holes of different diameters are inserted. The larger the diameter of the tunnel (and it can be up to 2 cm), the steeper it is considered.
Tunnel stretching methods
Naturally, the hole must be stretched to a large size. In the salons specializing in piercing, you can be offered a surgical method: they will cut a hole in the lobe of the desired diameter. This method will help you quickly achieve results and immediately insert a large diameter earring, similar to a tunnel, into your ear.
Do not forget that this is, in fact, a real operation – with blood, pain and the danger of infecting
The second way is not fast at all. It consists in gradually stretching the tunnel and incrementally increasing its diameter by 2-3 mm. This option, which is quite suitable for home conditions, can be, albeit a long, but rather effective and safe path to the cherished goal, if done correctly.
How to painlessly stretch a tunnel
To do this, you will need:
- special stretch marks of different sizes
- piercing gel
- tunnels of different diameters
- disinfectant liquid: medical alcohol or chlorhexidine
You can stretch the tunnel in this way, starting with a standard piercing in the ears for ordinary earrings.
Start stretching the tunnel by inserting a small stretch into the hole in your ear. They are plastic and wooden. It is better to use plastic ones: they are easier to disinfect, and they do not absorb the secreted ichor. This can cause wooden stretch marks to rot. To insert your first tunnel with a diameter of 2–3 mm, first insert a stretch of this diameter into your ear. It has the appearance of a horn, and it has a thin, rounded nose that will fit even into a small hole.
Take your time and stretch the lobe gradually. To achieve a hole size of 3 mm, advance the stretch daily by treating the ear with piercing gel. This can take 2-4 days. Once the stretch goes through the hole, you can insert your first tunnel into it. Walk with him for a week and a half, so that the ear gets used and rested, the skin and tissues are stretched. Once every two days, and preferably daily, remove the tunnel and treat it and the hole in the earlobe with alcohol or chlorhexidine.
Remember that fashion is changeable, and a scar on your ear after you have a hole from a tunnel sewn up can remain for many years.
After a while, if you want to continue stretching, remove the tunnel and insert a stretch of larger diameter – 6 mm. Repeat the entire procedure in the same sequence. Remember not to rush; in this case, the process will be really painless.
