  2. Use hermetically sealed jars to store spices. But seasonings are best placed in the refrigerator or in a dry and ventilated place.
  3. Move the spice jars away from the stove and oven. Temperature extremes have a detrimental effect on them.
  4. Always pick up herbs and spices with a dry spoon, moisture is not a companion for them.
  5. Protect spices from steam, do not hold jars over boiling containers.
