How is the product made?

Bees, descending on the flowers of plants, extract nectar from them, with which they fly to the hive, where they store the collected liquid. In the combs created by hardworking insects, “sweet amber” does not lose its unique properties for years.

In the natural environment, the concentration of nutrients in it is extremely high: harmful microorganisms are unable to exist and multiply. Quality deteriorates due to exposure to heat and sun rays.

Not everyone can keep it in a honeycomb, in a basement or cellar, in a container filled with propolis. But you can also preserve valuable characteristics in a glass jar.

Honey reaction to light

A window sill cannot serve as a place for proper storage of a bee product. Under ultraviolet rays, you can forget about its most valuable properties in a week. The sun will not penetrate into an ordinary kitchen cabinet, you can safely put it there.

Containers made of plastic are not suitable for storing sweets. If honey was sold in plastic packaging, then it is transferred to a glass jar. Its aroma is lost with frequent contact with air, so it is better to place the treat in small containers.

Remember that the trace elements present in honey cannot tolerate heat. The benefits of drinking it in hot tea or milk will be minimal.

Until today, no alternative solution has been invented that would allow preserving the “sweet amber” in the conditions existing in the hives. In them, it does not deteriorate at all, and the useful properties become even more valuable.
