How to store mint in the refrigerator?

The washed greens can be placed in a plastic container and covered with a lid. If you don’t have a suitable container, place the fragrant twigs in a disposable bag and tie tightly to keep out air. You can also put the herbs in a glass of water. Mint can be stored in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.

For long-term storage, it is recommended to dry the plant. Rinse the branches thoroughly and tie them into small bunches. Hang the brooms in a place out of the sun.
When the greens are completely dry, put them in glass jars and close the lids. You can also use linen bags to store dried mint. In this form, the aromatic plant is used to make tea, and when ground into powder, it is used as a seasoning for meat dishes, salads and snacks.
