• if in the same package in which it was sold, then after opening – no more than 5 days;

• only two to three days you can store feta cheese in a plastic or enamel container with a lid.
How to keep feta cheese fresh for a long time?
For a long time, this cheese is stored in its original packaging. You can put it in the freezer, so although it will lose its taste, it can last up to eight months.
And how to store feta cheese for a long time? This can only be done in a special brine. To prepare it, you need to dissolve 200 g of salt in a liter of water and pour a piece of cheese. It is best to store it in a glass or enamel container with a lid. So it can stay fresh for several months.
