If you follow the recommendations and lead an active lifestyle, the chances of many diseases will decrease significantly.

VISION

Asthenopia, or visual fatigue, complain most often – clarity is lost, the eyelids become heavy, double vision. Subsequently, such symptoms can lead to myopia, so it is important to take action on time.

What to do: organize your workplace correctly. The distance to the monitor should be 65-70 cm, and the upper limit should be at eye level. Make sure that there is no glare on the screen, adjust the brightness depending on the lighting. Move the keyboard 10-30 cm from the edge of the table so that your arms and shoulders are relaxed. Ventilate the area and do wet cleaning once a day.

Dry eye syndrome – a burning sensation, a feeling that sand has got into the eyelids, photophobia and profuse tearing – familiar to those who spend a lot of time in front of the monitor.

What to do: blink for a minute after each hour of working at the computer and look at any distant object for 5-10 minutes to change the focal length. Use preservative-free moisturizing drops three times a day. Wear glasses with anti-computer filters. Do a relaxing exercise called palming. To do this, rub your palms and place them on your closed eyes for five minutes.

SPINE AND JOINTS

Osteochondrosis, scoliosis, herniated discs arise due to an increase in the load on the spine. This happens when, due to a motionless posture, blood stagnates in the organs, and the muscles become numb and cease to perform a supporting function.

What to do: when you are sitting, the muscles should not be tense. Pay attention to whether you reach the floor with your feet, whether you have to reach for the mouse, stretch your neck. It is important that both feet are on the floor. Do not cross your legs, this slows down blood circulation. Try to get up and warm up every hour.

Posture disorders and flat feet in adolescence may appear due to an abnormal position of the back in a sitting position. And all because it is at this time that intensive bone growth occurs.

What to do: follow all the recommendations above, do exercises, add physical activity.

Tunnel syndrome develops due to the uncomfortable position of the hands during work – this is a pinching of the median nerve, tendon swelling, pain in the hand. Signs – numbness, tingling, feeling of weakness, goosebumps – first appear in a tense, and then in a relaxed state. If you don’t take action, the nerve will atrophy and your fingers will lose sensitivity.

What to do: special exercises. Put your palms together, interlace your fingers, squeeze and unclench them, forcefully pulling them as far as possible to the sides. Or stretch your arms forward and rotate with your hands. You can bend your elbows slightly and clench and unclench your fists, or spread your arms out to the sides and shake your relaxed wrists.

VIENNES AND VESSELS

Chronic venous disease, in which there is pain, heaviness, burning, muscle cramps, fatigue and fatigue in the legs, restless legs syndrome, develops from a sedentary lifestyle.

What to do: move more, and at the first warning signs, consult a doctor. If you start the disease, you cannot do without surgery.
