How to start a perfect day: 8 life hacks for your efficiency

Scientists have proven that morning sets the tone for the whole day, and how you start your morning largely determines how your day goes: how productive it will be, how good your mood will be.

There has been a lot of research done on the topic of energy and self-control. As a result, we can be guided by 8 rules for starting a perfect day. All of them are based on the work of specialists and careful observation. By doing them, you will simply radiate energy!

1. Start your day by exercising

Yes, since kindergarten we have been told about the benefits of morning exercises. But who makes it? As a rule, morning hours (or rather an hour and a half at most) are scheduled every minute. And we neglect exercise.

Scientists have proven that 10 minutes of exercise in the morning will provide an energy boost for the entire day. Do not have time to work out in the morning, take time to exercise in the afternoon. It was not for nothing that in Soviet times, enterprises and offices insisted on holding physical exercises.

2. Not tea or coffee – drink lemon water in the morning

We have already written about the miraculous power of this simple drink. Lemon water stimulates mental and physical energy. This drink improves the absorption of nutrients in the stomach, facilitates digestion in general. After all, lemons are full of potassium, vitamin C and antioxidants.

It should be drunk in the morning on an empty stomach. Then you have to wait 15-30 minutes – and you can eat. If your weight is up to 70 kg., Half a lemon will be enough for you to prepare this energy drink, if more than 70 kg., Squeeze the juice from a whole lemon.

3. No social media

When you immerse yourself in reading your Facebook feed, flipping through messages in a messenger, your morning is consumed by other people’s problems. And you waste your energy reacting to someone else’s worries, victories, or failures. For health, it is better to use the morning time for something more peaceful.

4. Have breakfast

People who eat breakfast are less obese and have more consistent blood sugar levels. They also feel less hungry during the day. And if you also eat a healthy breakfast, the doors to a productive day and good physical shape are wide open!

5. Set yourself specific goals for the day.

Research shows that having specific goals is associated with significantly increased feelings of control and confidence. By setting specific goals for the day, you put them into action. This means that you must clearly articulate what you must do today. Not “try to write a report”, but “write a report before 16:00 pm, touching upon such and such aspects”. Split your tasks into stages, into several tasks, and praise yourself for completing each of them.

6. Get out

Research from Princeton University showed that people who worked in a clean space performed better than those whose workplace was littered. Chaos distracted them from their work. So no excuses about creative confusion, clarity of your space is necessary for clarity of mind.

7. Don’t do everything at once.

“Caesar Syndrome” makes many people feel inferior and they also grab onto everything at once, intending to move mountains at once, as they say, on all fronts. As a result, they quickly waste energy and do not achieve what they want. Research from Stanford University has shown that multitasking is less productive than completing one task at a time.

Don’t allow yourself to do several things at the same time. Establish a rule: one task at a time, and only then move on to the next. The brain can concentrate on only one task.

8. “Eat the frog”

Productive people know how important it is to eat this delicacy in the morning. The frog is the most important thing that requires the greatest concentration and, perhaps, I cannot wash off the pleasant. Do it in the morning and only then reward yourself with a coffee break, reading social media, and chatting with colleagues.

We will remind, earlier we wrote about 5 product secrets of efficiency.
