Removing blockages in the car Ariston
Which parts get clogged most often and what to check first:
- Drain filter. Open the front panel of the washer, after substituting a container to drain the water. The round part on the right is the filter. Unscrew it and remove debris.
- Sewerage and drain hose. Remove the hose and rinse under a high pressure faucet. Inspect the place where it connects to the sewer, perhaps debris has also accumulated there. It is necessary to thoroughly clean everything with special means.

Replacing the pump and water intake valve
To make sure that the drain pump is malfunctioning, check:
- Pull out the pump filter.
- Start the Spin program.
- Use a flashlight to look into the hole.
- If you see that the impeller is spinning, everything is in order. If it stands still, a blockage has formed, or the pump has broken.
Remove the old pump (pump) and install a new one will help the following steps:
- Lay the SM on the left side, having previously disconnected from the network and communications.
- Loosen the two screws in front.
- Disconnect the hoses.
- Pull out the pump and unscrew the three bolts securing the pump shell to the engine.

Measure the resistance of the filling valve with a multimeter:

Before removing the electric heater, measure its resistance with a multimeter. An indicator of 1 ohm indicates an open circuit, about 0 ohm – a short circuit has occurred. A serviceable device will show 25-30 ohms.
