How to shrink your cheeks. Video
Correct cheeks that are too full or create visually more expressive, beautifully sculpted facial features using light and shade correction. Its main techniques can be repeated in a regular make-up.
There are two types of correctors: dry and creamy. Which cosmetics is more suitable for your face can be understood in a practical way, but you can first choose based on your skin type. Oily and mixed skin types are best modeled with dry products, and dry ones with creamy ones.
If you use products with a creamy structure for modeling cheeks, then at the final stage everything must be fixed with powder
Dry means of correction include powders, blush, shadows. For creamy – bronzers, cream correctors, bases, etc. Correctors can be colored or reflective.
Light-colored modeling aids visually enlarge the areas of the face to which they are applied. As a rule, light means are used to fill in the areas of the face on which the most light falls: forehead, nose line, brow zones, chin, cheekbones, etc. Proper use of these products in your makeup will help correct some of the features of your appearance that are unsatisfactory to you.
Masking full cheeks with a highlighter
Modeling full cheeks should start with highlighting the cheekbones. It is best to use a pearlescent cream base or highlighter. With a brush, apply a small amount of highlighter to the cheekbones, distribute evenly. Only a slight glow effect should remain from the highlighter. A similar highlight on the cheekbones visually slightly lifts the cheeks.
Balance the correction by applying the highlighter to the brows, the nose line and the middle of the upper lip.
Now you need to do the darkening. They are created using powder (tan shades). Take some tanned powder on your brush. Determine the area that you want to visually reduce. To correct too full cheeks, apply the powder to the middle of the cheek, just below the wings of the nose, but above the corner of the lips.
Apply the powder gently along the massage lines to the temples. Make sure that the line of darkening is under the white highlight and at the same time is parallel to the line of the eyebrow and the line of the lower cheekbone. If necessary, the lower cheekbones can also be darkened.
Bronzer will help to visually make the cheeks more sunken. Apply it to the brush and fill in the space under the upper cheekbone. If you have a round face, you can apply some bronzer to your temples and the sides of your forehead. This will help to visually make the cheeks smaller and the face a little narrower. Also highlight the lower cheekbones with bronzer.
When applying bronzer and powder, make sure that there is no color difference between your face and neck, for this, apply correctors to the neck too.
Apply blush to the remaining areas of the face with a large brush. To do this, use a beveled brush and place some blush in the middle of the forehead and over the border of the bronzer you just applied. Blend well.
Working with modeling tools is a real find for those who seek to make their make-up even more perfect.
