You don’t need to be a first-class dressmaker to sew the simplest model of a tunic. Only 6 simple operations should be performed:
- Take a piece of fabric, fold it in half with the wrong side up. Put your T-shirt on top and circle it around the edges with chalk.
- Add to the contour of the T-shirt 5 cm at the bottom and sides.
- Mark a neckline 25–30 cm wide in the middle.
- Pin off the edges.
- Cut out along the contour. This will turn out 2 parts, since the fabric was folded in half.
- Sew on the sides of the edges on the machine to the width of the foot. Then fold over by 1,5 cm and sew the edges of the neckline, sleeves and hem.
In this way, you can make a model up to mid-thigh, to the knee, to mid-calf. To do this, you need to measure your height with a centimeter in advance and mark the desired length on the fabric from the bottom of the T-shirt.

The hem does not need to be trimmed. The result will be a fashionable asymmetry – in the front it is shorter, in the back it is longer. The model looks especially impressive when worn with a belt.

- Sew the scarves on the sides. The length of the seams determines the type of tunic. To make a closed model, you need to sew the entire distance from the armpit to the hips. For a free version, 10 cm are sewn from chest to waist on each side.
