· Coating with acrylic (or glass). The method is suitable for any type: acrylic, steel or cast iron bath. To update an obsolete coating, acrylic (pouring a special composition) or installing an acrylic liner is suitable. However, painting is also a good option. To do this, you need to choose a special paint (ordinary enamel is not just not suitable, it can lead to consequences that will be difficult to cope with). The next step is cleaning from dirt and degreasing. After that, you need to remove the old coating (preferably completely, otherwise roughness may appear) and apply a special compound.
As you can see, your bathtub with modern restoration methods can become completely new. The main thing is to choose the update option that appeals to you.
