How to replace harmful salt

During the day we will eat so much salt that we would be surprised. And even if we salt the dishes quite a bit, the salt still penetrates the body imperceptibly. Especially at the expense of purchased products. It’s all over the place as it extends shelf life and improves flavor. Salt is added even where, it seems, it should not be: in dough, cookies, sweets, chocolate, soda.

But our body with healthy kidneys and heart can remove no more than 25 grams of this substance daily. Nutritionists strongly advise that you reduce your daily salt intake.

The very first recommendation is to cook in such a way as to preserve their natural salt in the products. A steamer and grill work best with this task. We will also try to replace salt with other ingredients.

  • Soy sauce

It contains a small amount of salt. When buying soy sauce, choose a quality product that is free of flavors, colors, and peanuts. Soybeans, wheat, corn, salt and sugar are the ingredients of natural soy sauce.

  • Dry seaweed

Excellent substitute for table salt. Cabbage must be soaked in water for several hours (you can overnight). Next, cut the algae with scissors and rinse thoroughly in two or three waters. Use non-chlorinated drinking water.

Then the seaweed must be placed in a colander and allowed to drain. Add your favorite spices and a little oil (cedar, linseed or sesame is fine). Seaweed will be an excellent side dish for meat dishes.

  • Celery

One of the most unique vegetables with a rich chemical composition. Peaked celery is high in sodium and also tastes salty. A novelty in cooking is a dry food supplement made from celery.

  • Специи

Salt can be substituted with a variety of spices. Some of the richest spices are turmeric, oregano, cumin and rosemary.
