How to replace cottage cheese in diet and baking
Cottage cheese is a source of amino acids, calcium, phosphorus and vitamins necessary for the human body. Like other fermented milk products, it is an essential part of a healthy diet. But if for some reason you cannot use it, you will have to look for how to replace cottage cheese in the menu.
How to replace cottage cheese in your diet?
If you follow a diet low in fat and carbohydrates, you can replace regular cottage cheese with a low-fat one: such a product contains no more than 130 kcal per 100 grams. Other low-fat or low-fat foods will also help to fill the calcium deficiency: kefir, yogurt, yogurt cheese. Lean meats and poultry can be a source of protein.
If the philosophy of vegetarianism is close to you, replace the curd with tofu soy. By adding different sauces and spices to it, you will give tofu different flavors and aromas. In this case, animal protein will partially replace vegetable protein – include legumes, buckwheat, couscous and nuts in the diet.
Children who are allergic to cow’s milk protein and people who are lactose (milk sugar) intolerant should not eat cottage cheese or other dairy products.

Cheesecakes, cheesecakes, juices – baked goods with cottage cheese are loved for their delicate creamy taste. But what if there was no cottage cheese at hand, but you really want to cook your favorite dessert? This problem is especially relevant in travel and long trips to other countries: cottage cheese is not used in all cultures. Is it possible to replace cottage cheese with cheese?
Try cream cheese like ricotta or mascarpone.
They are closest to our usual cottage cheese in taste, and baked goods with them turn out to be tender and fragrant.
You can also use tofu bean curd, which is often used in puddings, pies, sauces and pastes.
If you can’t eat cottage cheese, don’t worry: there are plenty of alternative sources of protein and calcium. But if there are no contraindications, you should not exclude this healthy and tasty product from the diet.
