How to remove scars and scars on the face. Video
Scars, especially on a woman’s face, can hardly be considered an adornment, and yet they can be “earned” quite easily. A scar, or scar, can manifest itself as post-acne or as a result of acne, grow at the site of the wound. Fortunately, there are ways to remove scars from your face and make your skin look even and smoother again.
Scarring is a natural process, a restorative reaction in places of deep skin damage, where destroyed cells are replaced by connective tissue cells. The cause of scar formation can be an open wound, cut, burn, inflammation, provoked by acne.
Dermatologists distinguish several types of scars:
- keloid, they are, as a rule, a consequence of the healing of postoperative wounds and appear some time after surgery
- hypertrophic, ugly pink scars that form when open wounds heal due to a large amount of scar tissue
- atrophic, no different in color, but resemble oval or rectangular pits on the skin, usually they are a consequence of acne
- normorphic, have a color and structure different from the area of the skin where they are located, and can be eliminated even with the help of a corrector or foundation.
How to get rid of facial scars
It is easiest to get rid of a scar without allowing it to form than to treat it later. In many cases, folk remedies can help at the initial stage: masks based on almond oil, rubbing with tomato or lemon juice. A good result can be obtained using cucumber extract, which should be applied to the darkened areas of the skin left by acne.
For skin that tends to form scars, cosmetics with a high content of retinol and fruit acid should be selected, they will help to increase its density.
Facial scars can be removed at one of the many beauty clinics. Treatment will be prescribed depending on the type of scar. If the scar already “decorates” the face, it is no longer possible to completely get rid of it, even by hardware methods: the structure of the skin has already changed. But cosmetological intervention will improve their appearance, make them more invisible – smaller, paler. Keloid scars are the most difficult to correct, but the earlier you see a doctor, the easier it will be to make these skin defects invisible.
Complex techniques are often used to remove scars and scars, including laser correction, chemical peelings, and hardware exposure. The laser is used for resurfacing and treatment, when the upper layers of the skin protruding above the surface are removed and a laser beam is applied to the deep layers of the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and elastane. Chemical peels work especially well with atrophic and hypertrophic scars, allowing for a simultaneous anti-aging effect. Small scars left after acne can be successfully removed using mechanical peeling – diamond microdermabrasion.
