To remove the oil stain yourself, sprinkle a piece of white chalk crushed into powder and let it sit for a few hours. The powder should absorb dirt and grease, removing the oil stain. After shaking off the chalk, wash it with laundry soap.

A fresh greasy stain can be removed from light-colored clothing with ammonia. To do this, prepare a solution by mixing ½ spoonful of alcohol and a drop of liquid dishwashing liquid in half a glass of water. Soak a cotton swab in the solution and lubricate the stain. Then iron the treated area with a white cloth.

Removing oil stains from outerwear

You will need: – water; – gasoline; – a piece of chalk; – cotton swab; – blotting paper; – salt.

Oil stains and greasy spots on outerwear can be removed by wiping with a cotton swab dipped in a solution of sodium chloride. To prepare it, dissolve 5 g of salt in 25 ml of 10% ammonia.

Or dust the stain with talcum powder and iron with a mildly heated iron, padding with absorbent paper. Leave the talcum powder on the garment until the next day.

Oil contamination can be removed from light-colored silk and woolen clothes using a mixture of talc and magnesium oxide with gasoline. The mixture must be applied to the stain and left to dry completely. Then the dried powder is removed with a brush and the treated area is wiped with a damp swab.
