How to remove fucorcin stains

The antibacterial agent fucorcin is often used to treat wounds and inflammatory formations on the skin; in children, they are treated with blisters and sores due to chickenpox or rubella. This drug is very effective, but it has a bright crimson color, which cannot be immediately removed from the skin or tissue.

How to wash fucorcin from skin

Fuchsin is a part of fukortsin, which gives this drug the color of bright fuchsia. After being applied to the skin, it is simply washed off after a while, and the stain disappears without a trace. But there are situations when fucorcin spots on open skin areas will be completely inappropriate. Of course, it will be quite difficult to wash freshly applied fucorcin – ordinary soap will not help here. There are several products that can make the stain look significantly paler, but each should be used taking into account the sensitivity of the skin and individual intolerance to certain chemicals.

Products that can help you remove the stain from the skin: – baby cream and skin lotion; – 1 tsp. ammonia and 2 tsp. 3% hydrogen peroxide; – alcohol tincture of calendula; – laundry soap.

With baby cream applied to a cotton pad, you need to wipe the stain in several stages. Wipe the skin for 2-3 minutes, take a break for 1-2 hours and repeat the procedure. Finally, wipe the stained area with facial cleansing lotion.

Make a mixture of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. Dip a piece of cotton wool in this mixture and rub the skin with light strokes for 2-3 minutes. You should not rub hard, so that instead of a stain from fucorcin, a red spot does not remain on the skin, but from your efforts. Rinse the mixture off your skin with warm water and repeat the procedure after an hour. If you have sensitive skin, reduce the treatment time to 1–1,5 minutes and apply a nourishing cream to the area after washing.

To neutralize the pungent smell of ammonia, you can add 1 tsp to the mixture. baby shampoo or shower gel

To remove fucorcin from the skin, you can use an alcoholic tincture of calendula, which is sold in pharmacies, or a solution of laundry soap.

How to rinse fucorcin from fabric

To remove fucorcin from fabrics or upholstered furniture, you will need: – bleach solution; – sodium sulfite; – acetone.

Instead of acetone, you can use an acetone-containing colorless nail polish remover

Fukortsin can get on the tissue as a result of contact with the skin treated with it, or simply as a result of negligence. It should be noted that in this case it will be much more difficult to wash it off than from the skin – the stain can acquire a light shade and completely disappear only after a while. It is easiest to wash white fabrics – in this case, it is enough to wipe them with a solution of bleach.

For light colored fabrics, use sodium sulfite solution. Please note that then the stains must be wiped off so that these preparations do not remain on the fabric. Traces of fucorcin can be discolored with acetone, wiping the stain with it for a while and periodically changing cotton pads.
