How to quickly and easily peel boiled eggs from the shell

Boiled eggs are a nutritious and healthy product, which is why they are often used to prepare various dishes. If this product is a frequent guest in the diet, you need to learn how to quickly cleanse it.

What needs to be done so that the shells are easily separated from the eggs

In order for the shell to be cleaned without problems, you need to be able to cook eggs correctly. Raw eggs are poured with cold water so that it covers them by about the thickness of one finger. You can add salt or soda. Then the product is brought to a boil and cooked for 6 to 10 minutes, depending on what consistency is needed.

Everyone can quickly peel eggs

Fresh eggs are always very difficult to peel. Therefore, if you need a perfectly cleaned product, it is better not to take just laid eggs.

Freshly boiled eggs are poured with very cold water. When the liquid heats up, it is drained, and the eggs are again poured with ice water. This is done until the product has completely cooled down. Fast cooling is good because it stops the cooking process, and the egg turns out to be exactly the consistency that was originally needed. In a slowly cooling egg, the cooking process continues for some time. The sudden temperature drop helps the protein harden and separates well.

How to quickly peel eggs from the shell

There are several ways to clean up quickly and easily:

  • rolling. The egg is placed on the surface and rolled back and forth with the palm of the hand. The shell cracks in the middle and is removed in a couple of seconds;
  • using a spoon. The product is vigorously rolled on the table so that the egg shell is covered with a cobweb of small cracks. Then a spoon is inserted under it and removed;
  • blowing. Holes are made on both sides of the egg, while at the blunt end it should be large. After that, a lot of air is taken into the lungs and air is released with force from the sharp end. The egg slips effortlessly from the blunt end;
  • shaking in a glass. Place the product in a thick-walled glass, add a little water, cover the opening with your hand and shake vigorously. After this procedure, the shell of the egg is removed instantly.

You can use the latter method to clean multiple eggs. But instead of a glass, it is better to take a small saucepan or a plastic container. The eggs will beat against the sides of the dish and against each other. Then you only need to remove the damaged shell.

By choosing one of the methods you like, you can save a lot of time on cleaning eggs. The eggs are smooth and beautiful, without dents or damage.
