  • quartz.

Interior decoration of a room with a stone consists of the following stages:

  1. Surface preparation, it should be cleaned of all previous coatings. Can decorative stone be glued to wallpaper? This is a gross mistake. They must be completely removed from the wall and then primed.
  2. An adhesive is applied to both the cleaned wall and decorative tiles;
  3. Pieces of stone are carefully applied, forming the desired pattern;

  5. The last step is to apply a special protective layer.

If the wall is concrete, then it should be plaster and primed beforehand.

For outdoor decoration, it is best to choose durable and weather-resistant quartz slabs. In this case, the installation technology should be observed.

  1. Prepare the wall carefully, fix the painting net on it, and then apply a layer of plaster;
  2. For exterior finishes, choose a cementitious adhesive backing. Dilute it as directed on the package and apply to the surface. First in a continuous layer, then make furrows. Apply the same cement to stones;
  3. Apply stones at a distance of 1-2 cm and press lightly;
  4. When the cement is dry, peel it off and apply a protective layer to the joints.

Thus, it is worth processing no more than 1 sq. m of area at a time. Otherwise, the solution will dry out too quickly.
