How to Program Yourself for Success with Affirmations

Good day, dear readers of my blog. I am sure that each of you has heard the phrase that thoughts are material more than once. Do you believe in it? If so, what are your beliefs based on: speculation, or is it empirically tested? Or, are you skeptical of such statements? Be that as it may, in my article I will tell you how affirmations help, what they are, how they work, the rules for compiling, the main mistakes and, of course, I will support all this with personal examples.

Some theory

What are affirmations? These are short verbal, positive expressions, which, with numerous repetitions, form and fix the desired setting in the subconscious. With their help, you can change not only the way of thinking, but also program yourself for the desired result, improve the psycho-emotional background and encourage yourself to make favorable changes in life.

Wording

 Everything is simple here. We adhere to several rules and our affirmation is ready.

  • Formulate statements exclusively in the present tense, then it will be perceived by you as a fait accompli. Example: I am a successful leader. I am a responsible employee. I process information quickly. I am a creative person. I am a creative person.
  • The Universe does not hear the particle, but does not perceive it on the brain. That is, an affirmation in the style: I will not be lazy, will be perceived by us as: I will be lazy.
  • Affirmation should be close to you, give rise to positive emotions in you. If a person is unpleasant to you, a phrase phrased as: I like “N”, I like “N”, will probably irritate you. Say to yourself: I am a well-mannered person, I am a prudent person, I can find an approach to everyone.
  • Use concise but clear language. I can do a lot — a good phrase, you already do a lot: talk, scroll through the pages of the Internet, newspapers, drink tea, communicate with colleagues, go out for smoke breaks. It’s the same action. Give yourself clear instructions, otherwise the brain will read you absolutely every action.
  • Believe in what you are saying. Even if you don’t feel like a king on a horse, or are absolutely sure that the day is not yours, help yourself change your mindset. Straighten your shoulders, straighten your back. Let the voice in your head sound confident.

To summarize, the affirmation should be: in the present tense, specifically formulated, suitable for you personally, aimed at your desires, not causing internal resistance, in a positive way, pronounced aloud or to yourself in a confident tone.

Common Mistakes

 Follow from the previous paragraph, namely from non-compliance with the rules.

Mistake #1: Not being serious. It is better not to resort to mental statements at all than to do it sluggishly, without enthusiasm, not at all believing in their power. With this approach, there will be no result, so it’s better not to waste your time on it, you just need to pick up another tool.

Mistake number 2: Using other people’s desires. Your colleague “A” knows how to speak in public and does it well. You, too, do not mind doing it at his level, but you do not like attention and in fact your occupation and interests do not overlap with this action. But you need. And colleague “B” drives a scooter well. You have never crossed the line of 40 km per hour. But you also want to be able to drive a two-wheeled vehicle. Which you will never sit on. You want as much money as your friend «C» earns, but you do not know how to spend it. Live your life, curiosity and all-round development is fine, but your statements should not go against your self. Formulate yours for yourself.

Mistake #3: Believing that affirmations are a panacea. Simple statements won’t make you money, get your car out of the parking lot, or increase your sales target for the month. This is a good setup, but the result requires action. You must do something with your hands, heart or head. We are changing our principles, our habitual way of thinking. We are reprogramming ourselves. We are changing from within. It is we who look at the world differently, we begin to perceive the world differently, and not vice versa.

How do they work

 We have dealt with the compilation rules, examined typical mistakes, and now let’s answer the question, how does it work anyway?

It’s simple, we formulate a positive statement, send this request to ourselves and to space. The brain then processes our thought. Earn 100000 thousand in a month. But as? It is necessary to remember what else I can do, what skills can I offer in the labor market? How else can you earn? Your trolleys will run along completely different routes. In addition to the fact that our statement is taken for granted, our brain gives us options, generates ideas of what else we can do to achieve this very statement.

Examples

The most common affirmations address our most common desires. Money, health, family well-being. Well, let’s sort together and give examples of statements on several different topics.  First, define what is it for you? Quantity of money, quality of life or relationships? Specifically for me, this is family relationships and my hobby. This is what my affirmations will be based on. Yours will be different, but some of these may be useful to you. The meaning is not even in paraphrased, unique phrases, but in what would be yours, correspond to your being and not stumble upon internal resistance:

  • I am a successful blogger, ten more people visit my blog every day than the previous day
  • My posts every day help people solve their problems
  • My family has strong relationships that grow stronger every day.
  • I reach my goals
  • In any situation I have a chance
  • I instill good habits in my children every day.
  • My family is my castle
  • My confidence is growing every day.

Saying these words every day, the results did not keep me waiting. Not because my family started to like me more, or my blog suddenly got to the top pages on its own, this is not at all the case. I just see differently. I see my chances, advantages, lessons that arise every day and my opportunities.

How to Program Yourself for Success with Affirmations

To health

I have already written this phrase several times, but friends, I will write it again. Never rely on words alone. If you have, say, a kidney problem, then your inaction will lead to disastrous results. But to support medication or any other treatment with confidence in recovery is good in itself. Once again, I urge you to be aware.

  • Every day my health is improving.
  • I feel a surge of strength and energy
  • My sleep is strong
  • I feel my strength in every cell of my body

For wealth

 The desire to have a lot of money, for some reason, often goes against our habits and beliefs. Some people condemn themselves in advance to a very modest financial situation, although from the outside everything looks as if they are innocent victims of unfortunate circumstances. In the question of money, some problems usually appear, but in reality the situation is as follows: we do not believe in our ability to earn money, we are often financially illiterate, we do not risk our homes, because we are afraid to lose what we have. Well, you can work with that too.

  • I deserve a salary of 70 rubles
  • My skills help me earn extra money
  • I increase my capital
  • I was able to double my income.

To make it easier, I recommend starting with simple positive attitudes for every day:

  • Today is a great day
  • I multiply my profit
  • I have a strong, friendly family
  • My strength grows stronger every day
  • I am a productive and valuable employee
