My older daughter is allergic. He is allergic to many food products, including for citrus, milk, bananas. Recently, I have had my second child. Can I do anything to prevent my son from having a food allergy? Worried mom

My guess is you’re feeding your baby. Therefore, I would advise (if it is possible) to do blood drop tests for food allergies and, in addition to products to which you are allergic, eliminate the following products from your diet:

– sugar, chocolate and sweets

– processed cereals; from wheat, barley, oatmeal

– milk products; including all cheeses, margarines (butter can be or can also be replaced with clarified butter)

– canned meat, cold cuts, sausages, smoked fish, crustaceans, molluscs,

– citrus fruits,

– corn, nuts, corn oil and other oils (except olive oil and linseed oil),

– soybeans and soy products,

– tea (except herbal tea or green tea)

– drinks made from fruit concentrates and pulp,

– sweetened fruit juices and juices of fruit and vegetables to which an allergy has been known

– vinegar (except apple cider vinegar), yeast,

– all preparations containing chemical preservatives, including citric acid (candies, jams, jellies, cookies), monosodium glutamate (stock cubes, protein hydrolysates, mushrooms, sea algae),

– prunes,

– egg whites (when allergic to whole eggs is also known as yolk), it is best to replace municipal water with mineral water with a fairly neutral composition)

In the event of an allergic reaction to latex, the following should be excluded from the diet: avocado, kiwi, bananas, nuts, melons, pineapples, oranges, papayas, spinach, tomatoes, figs, and potatoes. A substance that should attract the attention of allergy sufferers is histamine. Its excessive release from cells causes overloading of the body with it and may cause symptoms of poisoning. You should therefore eliminate or limit the consumption of foods that contain or release it from your diet.

Eliminate: ripening cheese, cold cuts, fish (tuna, mackerel, salmon, smoked herring), veal, beef, ketchup, beer, red wine, champagne, strawberries, bananas, chocolate.

Tomatoes, sauerkraut, spinach can be eaten every 4th day.
