Sometimes you need to move to a specific location in a Word document relative to your current position. Using the tool Go To (Jump), you can easily jump to the specified number of pages forward or backward.
Tab Go To (Go) is in the dialog box Find and Replace (Find and replace). You can access it by selecting the item of the same name from the drop-down menu of the button. Find (Find) which is in a group Editing (Editing) tab Home (Home).
Note: In addition, the tab Go To (Jump) can be opened by pressing the key F5.
On the Advanced tab Go To (Go) select Page (Page) from the list Go to what (Transition object). In field Enter page number (Enter page number) enter the number of pages to jump. With a plus sign if you want to move forward, or with a minus sign if you want to move backward. Click Go To (Go to).
The cursor will move the specified number of pages relative to the current position in the document. In this case, the dialog box Find and Replace (Find and Replace) will remain open. To close it, click Fermer (Close).
The plus and minus signs can be used with other list items as well. Go to what (Transition object). For example, if you choose Section (Section) and enter “+2”, the cursor will move forward two sections.
