How to make tahini sesame paste
 

Tahini is a sesame paste that is widely used in the cuisines of Israel, Greece, and Arab countries. It is used to make hummus, falafel, various sauces and even halva. The paste is 100 percent sesame, and when using the paste, sesame or olive oil, garlic, cumin, red pepper and lemon juice are added to it.

How to make sesame paste at home:

– Take sesame seeds, spread it in a thin layer on a baking sheet and dry in the oven at 150C for about 7-10 minutes, stir periodically;

– Fold the dried sesame seeds in a blender and begin to beat it, gradually add olive oil until a pasty consistency is obtained.

 

The finished pasta is similar to thick sour cream, seasoning to your liking, you can use it in the preparation of various dishes and simply spread on bread, preparing various sandwiches.
