At the Valentino runway, makeup artist Pat McGrath was inspired by 80s looks and Hollywood’s Golden Age actresses. She used smoky eyeshadow and signature Valentino red for the lips for the season. Apply coffee shadow to lids along the lash line, then shade the outer contour with a darker shade of brown. The secret is in shading.

With a black liner, draw a line of medium thickness across the upper eyelid. Then apply two coats of volumizing mascara to upper and lower lashes.

Highlight the cheekbones with a translucent, light creamy blush. The finishing touch is red lips. Apply a translucent gloss over the lipstick.

Hermès autumn makeup is lightness, transparency and naturalness. No bright accents or flashy tones. An even skin tone and no dark circles under the eyes are especially important in this makeup, so use a concealer before applying makeup. Then on the entire surface of the eyelid with a brush, apply shimmering shadows of a neutral shade – light beige, cream.

Instead of your usual black, try brown mascara. Using a large brush, apply a pale pink blush to the cheekbones, then gently blend it with your fingers to the hairline. To complete the look, paint your lips with a light pink gloss with a shimmery texture.

At the Emanuel Ungaro show, the main focus was on the eyes – the theme of the show was club life in Europe, so the models looked as if they were about to go to conquer nightclubs. Classic smoky eyes looked extremely expressive against a pale face.

To achieve this result, use two types of eyeshadow – neutral beige and charcoal black. First, apply beige on the inner and outer sides of the eyelid, then go black along the lash line, the closer to the outside of the eyes, the more intense the color should be.

Above and below, trace the arrows thinly with a waterproof liner along the lash line. Blend it down to the outer corners of the eyes and add some more black shadows. Apply a cool pink blush to the top of your cheekbones to further accentuate your eyes. Finish with a light pink lipstick in that blush and you’re ready to party all night!
