The fashion for spinning toys has come and gone. Another hobby took her place.

Slime is a good old slime that was invented back in the 70s of the last century. Mattel was the first to release this toy. Since then, the fashion for slimes has managed to fade away and revive again. These toys are popular not only among children. Adults, too, sometimes cannot tear themselves away from this soft, viscous substance. Besides, “hand gum” is sometimes made so beautiful! With sparkles, mother-of-pearl, silver balls – anything can be inside.

And they use it for the same thing as spinners – to relax and calm down. Only now it has become very fashionable not to buy slimes, but to do it yourself. It turns out to be pretty simple.

All slimes are made on the basis of PVA glue. Therefore, it is better to work with them with rubber gloves to avoid irritation. After all, it will take a long time to crumple the future slime.

So, we need 100 ml of glue, 120 ml of liquid detergent and 360 ml of water. First, mix the glue with the detergent, stir, and then add water to make a viscous mass. In the process, you can add dye or glitter to get absolutely beauty.

True slime fans use not only laundry detergents, but also shaving foam, and lens fluid as thickeners, and foam for washing, and even body lotion.

Recipe 2.With sodium tetraborate

A terrible name, but it’s just a boric acid salt. Another name is “borax”. You can buy it on AliExpress or at a hardware store. Mix a glass of water with a spoonful of borax, add glue – the slime will turn out to be the same size as you poured glue. Stir, add dyes and sparkles – you’re done.

By the way, PVA colored glue has already appeared specifically for fans of slimes. You don’t have to bother with the dye at all.

This slime can be stored for no more than a week. Since it is made with natural ingredients, it will certainly go bad. Mix a glass of cornstarch with a quarter glass of water, stir. Boil the remaining water, pour the starch solution into it. Stir well and cool. Pour the mixture into a bag, add 75 ml of PVA glue, dye and glitter. Tie the bag and mix the contents thoroughly. Blot any remaining liquid with a cloth.
