How to make hair stiff?
It’s great to have naturally smooth, soft and silky hair. But there are situations when you just need to make your hair harder. Then you should use some secrets.
First, coarse hair is less vulnerable to a range of negative factors that can be detrimental to it. Secondly, they are durable and less greasy, which makes them easier to care for. And thirdly, such hair does not fall out as much as others. In addition, some hairstyles work better only on coarse hair.
Foam and varnish with strong hold are not a panacea, but in an emergency they can help to give the hair the stiffness and the desired shape. To do this, distribute a small amount of foam evenly over clean strands and, lifting at the roots, fix with varnish.
This styling will make your hair look voluminous and your hair tough.
Not the most harmless, but an effective remedy for stiffness of hair is sea salt. At home, dissolve 4 teaspoons of sea salt in 1 cup of purified water. Apply sea water as a spray to your hair.
You can make your hair harder by rinsing it with medicinal herbs, which also have a healing effect.
For this purpose, decoctions from:
- oak bark
- burdock roots
- nettle leaves
Prepare a decoction at the rate of: 1 tablespoon to 1 glass of water and rinse your hair with the resulting product every day for 2-3 months.
With regular use of a mask based on black bread, you can visually “thicken” the hair. To make it, break the crumb of bread into small pieces and pour boiling water so that the water covers the bread. Leave it on for 1,5-2 hours, and then apply the resulting gruel evenly over the entire length of the hair. Insulate your head with plastic wrap. Wash off the mask after 2-3 hours.
Repeat the procedure 4-7 times a week
A gelatin mask is an excellent remedy for stiffening hair.
To prepare it, you will need:
- 1 tablespoon of gelatin
- 1 tablespoon shampoo
- 1 egg
Mix all components thoroughly. Apply the mask to wet hair, massage for 1-3 minutes, then rinse with cool water.
Applying colorless henna will make your hair noticeably thicker and thicker. To do this, mix 3 tablespoons of colorless henna with ½ tablespoon of mustard powder and dissolve in warm water so that you get a mass of mushy consistency. Apply the mask to hair and rinse off after 20-30 minutes with warm water.
