How to make bouquets for Easter
How to make a spring bouquet that will decorate the room on Easter and the following days.
How to make bouquets
- Aspidistra leaf – 2 pcs.
- Hyacinth – 3 pcs.
- Ornithogalum dubium (can be replaced with red alstroemeria) – 2 pcs.
- Waxflower – 1 pc.
- A bunch of dried herbs (preferably not discolored).
- Black fluffy feathers.
- Silicone hot melt glue with a “gun”.
- Thin floral wire.
- Glass vase.
- Spherical vase (for auxiliary purposes).
- Stapler, floral tape, knife and scissors.
1. First, heat the glue gun and release the melted glue to the bottom of an inverted ball vase. You can use the bottom of the blue for this purpose.
The glue should not lie in a continuous layer, but in an openwork pattern of transparent weaves, denser at the edges and thinner in the middle.
You can wet the vase in advance so that the hardened glue can then be more easily removed from it.
2. We attach the feathers to the ends of thin wires using tape, winding the wires in a spiral from top to bottom. In total, we will make 6-8 such blanks.
3. We cut the leaves of aspidistra with a blade lengthwise into three parts, bend each part back to a different length and attach it with a stapler to the base of the sheet. It turned out to be an original “live” bow.
4. Put dried grass in a vase and fill it with water.
5. We remove the frozen glue from the bottom of the ball-shaped vase, put it on top of the vase with water. It turns out decorative glue lace – an unusual detail that will give the composition its own charm.
We insert flowers into the vase through the glue mesh. In addition to decorative functions, it will also support flowers, preventing them from falling apart in different directions.
6. We complement our bouquet with feathers on wires, inserting them both in the center and on the sides of the composition.
7. We fix the flowers for the last time, bend up the glue edge (however, this is optional) and admire the bouquet.
