Seafood is a great option for a low-calorie food that contains maximum health benefits. The most accessible type of seafood remains a seafood cocktail mix of shrimp, mussels, squid and octopus. As a rule, we receive a frozen sea cocktail, packaged in bags or packed in a vacuum casing. You can always quickly prepare a light dish, the main ingredient of which will be a seafood cocktail, having a package or two of fresh seafood in the freezer.
Seafood salad
Ingredients:
- Seafood cocktail – 0,5 kg.
- Cherry tomatoes – 100 gr.
- Iceberg lettuce – 1/3 head
- Peking cabbage – 1/3 head of cabbage
- Crab meat – 1 can
- Olive oil – 3 tbsp. l.
- Soy Sauce – 1 Art. l
- Salt – to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste.
Sea cocktail, without defrosting, put in a frying pan with olive oil, cook until the water is completely evaporated, pour in soy sauce, stir and fry over high heat for 2-3 minutes. Coarsely chop the iceberg and Chinese cabbage, cut the cherry in half or into quarters if the tomatoes are large. Mix with crab meat, cooled sea cocktail, season with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Potato pancakes with sea cocktail
Ingredients:
- Seafood cocktail – 0,5 kg.
- Potatoes – 5-6 pcs.
- Onions – 1 pc.
- Dill – 1/2 bunch
- Wheat flour – 2 tbsp. l.
- Sour cream – 2 Art. l
- Egg – 1 pcs.
- Sunflower oil – for frying
- Salt – to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste.
Defrost the seafood cocktail. Wash the potatoes, peel and coarsely grate. Chop the onion (you can grate it on a fine grater), mix with potatoes, eggs, sour cream, flour and finely chopped dill. Add salt and pepper to the potato dough, mix well. Drain the seafood cocktail, squeeze it out a little and add to the potato mixture. Put in a frying pan with heated oil with a tablespoon, lightly leveling. Fry on both sides for 3-4 minutes.
Pizza with sea cocktail
Ingredients:
- Pizza dough – 300 gr.
- Seafood cocktail – 0,5 kg.
- Russian cheese – 200 gr.
- Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp. l.
- Ketchup – 2 tbsp l.
- Pizza seasoning – 2 tsp
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp. l.
Defrost the seafood cocktail, drain the water. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet or pizza dish, drizzle with olive oil and coat with ketchup. Mix the seafood cocktail with the mayonnaise and spread over the cake. Sprinkle generously with grated cheese (several types can be mixed) and seasoning. Bake in an oven preheated to 220 degrees in the “Pizza” mode on the lower level for 15-20 minutes.
Seafood cocktail in white wine
Ingredients:
- Seafood cocktail – 0,5 kg.
- Onions – 1 pc.
- Garlic – 2 teeth
- Dry white wine – 1 tbsp.
- Melted butter – 2 tbsp. l.
- Salt – to taste
- White pepper to taste.
Defrost the seafood cocktail by placing it in a colander. Finely chop the onion and garlic, fry in oil until transparent, add a seafood cocktail and cook, stirring occasionally, for 7-10 minutes. Pour in wine, let it boil, stir and reduce heat to medium. Add salt and pepper, simmer for 10 minutes. Serve with steamed vegetables and rice.
Seafood cocktail with rice noodles
Ingredients:
- Seafood cocktail – 0,5 kg.
- Rice noodles – 100 gr.
- Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
- Onions – 1 pc.
- Carrots – 1 pieces.
- Garlic – 2 prongs
- Soy Sauce – 3 Art. l
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp. l.
- Salt – to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste.
Peel and chop vegetables, carrots and peppers – into thin strips, onions and garlic – into small cubes. Heat the oil, fry the garlic and onion for 2 minutes, add the seafood cocktail, after 4 minutes – pepper and carrots. Stir, cook for 5 minutes. Pour boiling water over the rice noodles for five minutes, drain the water, send the noodles to the pan. Stir vigorously, season with salt, pepper and remove from heat.
Rice with sea cocktail
Ingredients:
- Seafood cocktail – 0,5 kg.
- Rice Krasnodar – 1 tbsp.
- Onions – 1 pc.
- Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
- Zucchini – 1/2 pc.
- Peas – 400 gr.
- Garlic – 3 teeth
- Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp. l.
- Curry – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste.
Cut the onion into thin half rings, the pepper and zucchini into cubes, chop the garlic. Defrost the sea cocktail, drain the water. Fry onion and garlic in hot oil for 2 minutes, add seafood cocktail, chopped vegetables, stir and cook for 2-3 minutes. If necessary, pour in a little boiled water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Boil rice until tender, add to a dish and mix well. Warm up and remove from heat.
