- Draw a circle on the cardboard using the shape of the bottom of the can or using a compass.
- Take a sheet of paper, wrap it in the used jar to measure the required length. Leave a small allowance for further fastening. Cut off the excess.
- On one bottom edge, make several cuts 1,5-2 cm long: they are necessary for attaching the sheet to the cardboard.
- Connect the sheet using a stapler on the previously remaining allowance of the sheet of paper.
- Now attach the notched sections to the cardboard.
The result is a reliable and simple form, which does not need to be oiled when baking. After baking the cake, the paper is simply removed.
How to make an Easter tin foil mold
There is foil in the kitchen of every housewife, so a completely fair question arises of how to correctly make a form for Easter with your own hands. In addition to foil, you will need paper, a stapler and a good old jar.
Do the following:
- Start wrapping the jar in foil. After making two turns, place the paper in the foil and continue wrapping.
- Without removing the cans, cut the foil with a small allowance.
- Using a stapler, secure the free edge to the base mold.
- Also, without removing the can, wrap the edges of the foil to the bottom of the can. Press the bottom down carefully – keep it as flat as possible.
- Take out the jar carefully and cut the required height of the resulting shape.
If you are cutting a fairly large section, place a jar in it and close the bottom as described above. Thus, you will get two forms for cake at once.
