STEP 1

At the first stage, high accuracy is required, since for the manufacture of the table frame, you first need to prepare (saw) individual parts. To this end, it is advisable to download the corresponding diagram and prepare the required blanks according to the instructions: table legs (8 parts), table frame (8 parts), wooden spacers (6 pcs.), Base plate (2 parts). Finally, cut the gutter to the desired length. For the most accurate results, it is best to use the handy cordless jigsaw, which is easy and convenient to use. As sharp edges of workpieces can lead to splinters, they should be processed by hand using fine sanding paper or using a multi-sander.

Tip: alternatively, you can cut out the necessary parts at the building materials store – in this case, do not forget to bring the diagram with you!

STEP 2

Now you need to drill through the correctly sawn workpieces and the gutter. For this, two different wood drills are used (dia. 4 mm and 8 mm); the exact hole positions are indicated in the diagram. To provide the future table with resistance to atmospheric and other environmental influences, now you should cover all the details with glaze on wood. With a paint spray system, this is easy.

STEP 3

Now the gutter is being prepared, which in the future will serve to drain excess water – for the benefit of the lawn. In order for the water to flow to the center, first the gutter is cut with a cutter in the center so that the gutter can be slightly bent, thus forming a slope (slope) in both directions. At the same place, that is, in the center of the gutter in its bottom, a hole with a diameter of 50 mm is drilled to drain the water. For a secure fit, the groove must be clamped before you start drilling with the crown. A suitable drain must be installed in the finished hole.

STEP 4

At the next stage, the table is assembled using the PSR 18 LI-2 Ergonomic. For this, the table legs are first screwed through the pre-drilled holes using wood screws (3,5 x 50 mm). Then the assembly of the table frame is carried out also through the pre-made holes. At the end, the legs and table frame are screwed in with the fixing bolts using a box spanner.

STEP 5

Now install the table frame, place the six wooden spacers as shown in the diagram and screw them with wood screws (3,5 x 30 mm) to the frame. Thanks to this, the lawn table will be strong, stable and will not sway. The wooden spacers will later be used for attaching the turf base plates.

STEP 6

The gutter is now screwed onto the table frame (see diagram). To do this, use two small wood screws (3,5 x 18 mm). This further increases the stability of the table, and the chute takes care of preventing unintentional flooding of the lawn.

Tip: By the way, about waterflooding: if the table is indoors in winter, do not forget to place a small bucket under the drain from the bottom of the table when watering the lawn in order to prevent water from spilling at home.

STEP 7

Before laying the lawn, you need to prepare the base for it. The base plates will serve as the basis: they are installed on wooden spacers and screwed in the provided places with wood screws (3,5 x 30 mm). Now you need to cut and lay the film. The film is fixed inside the table frame with a stapler.

In this case, it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that when laying on the foil does not form folds, that is, the foil should adhere to the base plates as evenly as possible. Finally, you need to carefully cut off the protruding edges of the film with a cutter. The film is then cut centrally along the gutter.

STEP 8

Now is the time to lay the roll-out lawn. It will give the table a unique look and a special kinesthetic feeling. An important prerequisite is that the base plates must first be wrapped in non-woven material intended for use in garden areas. This will prevent soil from clogging the drain. Then the box should be filled with flower soil. The optimal filling will be as follows: slightly more in the center than along the edge (this is necessary to level out a slight slope). At the end, the roll lawn is laid out, and its protruding edges are trimmed along the edge so that the lawn fits exactly in the table frame.

Tip: use a cordless shears to care for your lawn.
