The coronavirus pandemic has opened up unexpected talents in many people. Some begin to master new forms of art or do something that they would not even have looked at before.
So, 42-year-old Kim Heslip, who, like many people, spent a lot of time at home during the coronavirus pandemic, decided to transform him. The girl seriously thought that the apartment did not meet her expectations and did not reflect what she would really like to see. Taking a look at her boring hallway, Kim set to work.
Heslip was on a tight budget, but she was pretty imaginative. She wanted to create an entrance lobby that would look like a wardrobe in an upmarket boutique. For this purpose, the American woman used old furniture and cheap interior items purchased from online stores.
First, she re-pasted the wallpaper. The light blue hallway turned white. Also, Kim put a cozy nude pouf at the entrance, on which you can put your shoes on, and hung hooks for clothes over it. As a highlight, Kim moved a small zebra-print rug out of her room. She placed a wardrobe near the wall for outerwear and other outfits, which was previously in the living room.
The old chair, the bulky wooden table and the mirrors were scrapped. Several simple framed paintings and shelves began to harmoniously refresh the hallway, on which ladies’ necessities – perfumes, jewelry and hats – were comfortably located.
“I managed to create a fundamentally new interior from those items that we already had at home. I bought the rest for a penny, spending only 2,99 pounds (about 300 rubles). The hallway used to be very boring, with old wooden furniture and faded wallpaper. Now everything has changed, and I am proud of it, “- Kim wrote on the network, posting footage of the updated interior, which pleased all of her subscribers.
