How to make a do-it-yourself napkin
Size: diameter approx. 45 cm.
You will need: remnants of fine yarn (semi-wool) of various colors (in our case, yellow, light green, pink, red, blue, burgundy, dark green and black); hook number 2.
Technique performance: Crochet.
Description of work
We start work with a black thread.
- Chain from 10 c. n. close the connection ring Art.
- 1st row: 1 in. p. rise, 20 st. b / n under the loops of the initial chain.
- 2nd row: 1 in. n. lifting, * 2 tbsp. b / n in the corresponding art. bottom row, 2 tbsp. b / n in the next st. bottom row * – perform 7 times. Thus, the number of columns in the 2nd row has increased by 7.
- 3-15th rows: knit with columns b / n similar to the 2nd row, that is, knit 3 tbsp from each 2rd column of the bottom row. b / n, as a result of which the number of columns in each next row increases by 7. Increments should be made in different places relative to the increments of the previous row, so that the center of the napkin turns out to be round.
- 16th row: * 29 in. n., 1 tbsp. b / n in the 6th column of the bottom row * – perform 21 times, 29 c. n., conn. Art. in the 1st c. p. 1-st chain.
- 17th row: * knit 14 tbsp. b / n in the corresponding loops of the chain, in the 15th loop, knit 3 tbsp. b / n, 14 st. b / n in the next 14 sts of the chain * – perform 22 times for each chain from c. NS.
- 18th row: * 1 tbsp. skip the lower row, 14 tbsp. b / n, 3 st. b / n in the middle st. increases in the previous row, 14 tbsp. b / n, 1 st. skip the bottom row * – perform 22 times.
- And then knit in the same way as in the 18th row, that is, in one place adding 2 tbsp. b / n, and in the other subtracting (see Scheme 28). In this way, tie the 19-21st rows with a black thread, then the 22-25th rows – blue, 26-29th – red, 30-33rd – yellow. Moreover, in the 26th row to the group of 14 st. b / n add another 1 tbsp. and then knit 15 tbsp. b / n on the side edges of the napkin petals.
- 34th row (knit with burgundy thread): attach the thread at the top of one of the petals, * 31 in. n., 1 tbsp. b / n to the top of the next petal * – perform 22 times.
- Next, knit with columns b / n, as well as rows 17-33, adding columns at the tops of the petals and skipping the columns at the base according to scheme 28. At the same time, on the side edges, perform 15 tbsp. b / n in the 35-41st rows and 16 st. in the 42-49th rows. Alternation of thread colors: 35-37th – burgundy, 38-41st – pink, 42-45th – light green, 46-49th – dark green.
Moisten the finished napkin slightly, straighten the petals, making bends in the right places, and leave to dry.
