How to make a cuckoo at home

Two holes are made in the lid: a tube from a vacuum cleaner is inserted into one, and a tube from a dropper into the second. They turn on the vacuum cleaner, fill in the medicine with a syringe and suck it out using a tube from a dropper.
There is no need to be scared if, after washing, the patient feels unpleasant symptoms:
- burning sensation in the nasal cavity
- sneezing
- redness of the eyes
- slight ear congestion
- slight bleeding
Do not go outside immediately after washing.
If it’s cold outside, you need to wait at least 2 hours before going outside. In summer, 20-30 minutes is enough.
How to make a cuckoo at home: precautions
Carrying out such a procedure at home, do not forget about the precautions and contraindications:
- Small children should not use pressure to rinse their nose. This washing is carried out only for adults. The best option for kids is a regular teapot
- Curvature of the nasal septum is a serious contraindication for flushing
- If the nasal mucosa is swollen, and this often happens with ARVI, then vasoconstrictor drops should be dripped into the nose before the procedure. Otherwise, it threatens that the infection gets into the middle ear.
- Frequent nosebleeds are also a reason to think about the advisability of such treatment.
During the procedure, you need to remain calm and follow all of the above recommendations.
