Stick to the regime
Eat dinner at your usual time to avoid heavy meals after midnight. The pancreas, which secretes enzymes and hormones necessary for digestion, rests at night. During the feast, she will work in emergency mode, which is fraught with indigestion and an attack of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas). To avoid this, move more and go out into the air.
Taste
Take a small plate, add small amounts of food and chew thoroughly. Having felt the taste and pleasure, you can stop. Break for dancing more often, this will help the gastrointestinal tract to work more actively, the body will digest food faster and assimilate useful substances.
Keep order
Correct ordering of meals helps digestion. Start your dinner with a vegetable salad with oil and lemon dressing. Firstly, a light meal will fill the stomach, and secondly, vegetables have a lot of fiber, which will create a feeling of fullness. It will come in 20-25 minutes, when glucose enters the bloodstream and nerve impulses give the desired signal to the brain.
Drink water
A glass of still water, drunk 20 minutes before the meal, will fill the stomach, and satiety will come faster. The volume of the stomach is about 0,5 liters, if you eat more at a time, the muscle tissue will stretch, and a feeling of heaviness will appear. After a glass of wine, drink half a glass of water, it will reduce the negative effects of alcohol (reduce concentration, prevent dehydration).
Give up food provocateurs
Spices, salted, pickled and pickled vegetables, smoked meats, canned food, sauces, horseradish, black radish, mustard, sour fruits (oranges, apples, grapes, lemon, kiwi, pomegranate) not only stimulate the appetite, but also put an increased load on the pancreas … Try to eat them as little as possible.
Stock up on medications
If you feel that you have eaten too much, take a pill of enzymes, it will help digestion: Gastinorm forte, Wobenzym, Unienzyme, Oraza, Pepfiz, Mezim Forte, Pancreatin, Creon, Lycrease, Penzital, Festal, Enzistal. Consult with your doctor in advance which one is better to choose.
Have a coffee
The grains of this plant contain a substance that aids in digestion. A cup of freshly brewed ground coffee at the end of the party will help speed the breakdown of foods and relieve the feeling of heaviness. By the way, green tea has the same property.
Don’t experiment
Holidays are already stressful for the digestive system, so eating unfamiliar foods is fraught with allergies and upset. Don’t cook for future use. Salads with sour cream or mayonnaise are stored for 24 hours, and even less at room temperature, so you cannot eat them the next day.
