The types of loads, first of all, depend on the general physical fitness. If you were actively involved in sports before pregnancy (and then during), then after childbirth you can resume activities quite early. I was studying in a week.
Better to start with workouts such as yoga, stretching, pilates. You can practice every day for about 30 minutes. Then gradually introduce strength exercises on the legs, buttocks and arms. Be careful with the press! It is not recommended to swing it until three months after childbirth, and if it was not there before pregnancy, then you should not kill yourself in pursuit of cubes earlier than 6 months later, since there is a risk of earning diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles.

After the birth of a child, I did not have new hobbies – I do not have enough time. I went to work in a month, and the pace of life doubled. But I found new ways to do sports: I roller-skate with a stroller, I turn playing with my baby into useful exercises for my body.

I never went on diets and did not adhere to standard prohibitions during pregnancy. I’m not on a diet specifically to keep fit. It’s just that over the years, preferences have developed by themselves. In the diet, I adhere to the scheme: most of the food consumed should be in the first half of the day. And in just 5 meals a day: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner.
I am a big lover of meat, fish, chicken, cheeses, fresh salads with olive oil and fruits. I will always choose a fruit between a piece of cake and some kind of fruit. Honestly, I was a little upset that my body did not require something new, strange during pregnancy: herring under a fur coat, for example, spread with jam on top. I wanted to experience what it felt like.
During pregnancy, the body does not need more food than usual! And the expression “I need to eat for two” generally shocks me. A healthy man is not sitting inside you. So we slow down and don’t turn our body into a trash heap. It is important to keep track of not only how much you eat, but what exactly. After all, you already at an early stage accustom your future baby to the food that you yourself eat.
Breakfast:
- Porridge, cottage cheese or yogurt + a couple of oatmeal cookies.
- Omelet or scrambled eggs from two eggs (or any variation) + toast with cheese or half an avocado.
Snack: banana / yogurt / kefir / any fruit / toast or cheese loaf / smoothie.
Dinner: soup and on the second protein with carbohydrates.

They nourish the skin well and make it as elastic as possible. After giving birth, I bought a bunch of different tightening products, but, to be honest, I did not understand if they had an effect. I continued to use the same oils against stretch marks – rubbed in with massaging movements, which stimulates elasticity, which means it helps to speed up the recovery process.

How I quickly got in shape after giving birth
Before I started planning a pregnancy, my weight was firmly at around 96 kg. Wow! But it was just like that, and the war began with excess weight and great love for a big self. Together with chicken and buckwheat, we reached the 65 kg mark. This was followed by a happy pregnancy, and the body took it as a signal for action … and happily returned 25 kg to me.
They promised that I would leave a good 10 kg in the hospital, but it took only 4,5 kg. But the rest stayed to warm me on cold winter evenings. By the spring, I was back to my prenatal weight effortlessly, but with proper nutrition.
I didn’t want to stop there, and I surrendered myself into the hands of specialists and became a participant in the three-month television project “Body in Action”.

It was after pregnancy that I became friends with sports. Losing weight online is great motivating. And if there is a grandmother who happily stays with her granddaughter, then there will be time for training. In my case, it was 4-5 times a week, a very strict dietary restriction and lpg massage. After three months of such an intensive, another 9 kg went away. At that moment, I reached the smallest weight in my adult life!
How to do everything
The main problem was the absolute rejection of the decree. As they say, “the walls are crushing.” And then we, armed with a car seat, set off to conquer new career horizons. And how quickly you return to your usual way of life depends only on your mood. I personally got more inspiration with the birth of a baby. And, of course, you look at the time differently. You wish you wasted it so thoughtlessly before. So calculate your strength, look for your favorite business and do not be afraid to give birth. Everything will be in time!

How I got back to work and an active lifestyle after giving birth
In fact, I never left an active life: I worked the entire pregnancy, went to the hospital from work too. But nature takes its toll, and no matter how super stable you are, the body requires rest and recovery.
Even during pregnancy, I roughly planned the recovery procedures, what and how I would do. In the first week, I invited a doula home – an assistant during childbirth, she gave me a twist – a complex of restorative procedures, a massage of the abdomen. This quickly helped me to gather my body and brains into a bunch, I wrote completely about the procedure on my blog on Instagram.

You just need to not be lazy and take time for yourself. Once my yoga coach said this phrase: you need to live not for a child, but with a child. Then I was pregnant with my daughter and did not really understand this phrase. After all, everyone around only writes: “my meaning of life, my child”, and only after a while I understood her idea. I am madly in love with my “chickens”, my super husband, but if I forget about myself, then what will I be? True: tired, angry, but about the appearance, everything is clear at all. But a mother should be an example, especially when she has a daughter.
My rule is not to be lazy! If I want, I will. I will take a bath at 10 am and lie in foam with a scent candle and my favorite music. And even if it will be only XNUMX minutes, but they will only be mine. Well, to be honest, thanks to my husband I can do a lot. He knows perfectly well how I need it. And he himself understands that he needs a beautiful and happy wife, so his help is especially valuable to me. He can calmly put his daughter to bed if I went to bed early, calmly be with my daughter while I go for a manicure.
And also, in order to go out with two painted eyes, I do this: in the morning we go with my daughter to carry out all the water procedures, and while she is busy with her business in a bubble bath, I quickly paint and collect myself, while we conduct a dialogue with her, I constantly tell her something, I share, and she, of course, answers me, albeit in her own language.
There are, of course, days and nights when your strength is running out. This is where my ability to shut off for at least a few minutes helps me. I can sleep anywhere. Has worked it out over time. Yoga helped me a lot! And I think mothers need this – to be able to turn off their heads and plunge into the kingdom of Morpheus.
Mode – needed or not
I think life is easier with him, but so far I understand that planning something with two children is quite difficult. Perhaps it will work when the daughter goes to kindergarten. Now I do not have a special regime, I can plan my day in the evening, and in the morning my grandmother will call and happily say that Nicole will pick up, and then I will quickly re-plan everything. Probably to be easy-going, accept any offers with a smile and enthusiasm, and always involve your whole family and help you lead an active life.
What to do if you need to leave urgently
Even during my first pregnancy, I knew that I would need to go somewhere and go away. For example, when my daughter was 3 months old, my husband had a birthday, and I, being pregnant, knew that I wanted to surprise him: we will go on a little trip to a neighboring city, have a cool rest in a beautiful hotel and gain strength. Therefore, I prepared in advance, froze a full freezer of my milk for my daughter. We left Nicole with my parents for a day and had a great time together with my husband! Then I realized how great it is that we have grandmothers nearby.
My son has never been left behind, even if something is urgently needed, he is always and everywhere with me. Even to the orthodontist, even to training, but the milk in the freezer is already full, just in case.
I’m calm about nannies. You can trust, but on one condition: if this is a proven woman, for example, recommended by your friends.
Know that nothing is impossible, there is only laziness and unwillingness to love yourself.
