Pilon, Malysheva’s diet, cardio training – this is only a small part of what helped them lose weight by 50 kg or more, as well as become more attractive to themselves and others. Exhausting diets and constant training have changed their lives, which they talk about with joy and pride. All of this they were able to achieve this thanks to their willpower.

Elena Beloborodova, 41 years old, height – 170 cm, logistician, Moscow

Weight up to – 120 kg, weight after – 68 kg

– I gained weight literally from a good life. She married happily and tried to pamper her beloved husband with something tasty. At the same time, the husband remained slim, and I did not notice how I gained excess weight. And right away, a bunch of inconveniences appeared in life, which slender people do not even suspect.

I chose the diet of Elena Malysheva. She does not exclude sweets, and the last meal is three hours before bedtime. This suits me, since I am a night owl. Drinking regime – 2 liters of water per day. 5-6 meals a day in small portions. The teledoctor has developed many tasty and low-calorie recipes, so you can’t even call it a diet – healthy, nutritious food. I am proud to take care of my own body. He reciprocates: the body has become light, mobile, flexible, enduring.

Rita Alekseeva, 60 years old, height – 173 cm, pensioner, Lipetsk

Weight up to – 73 kg, weight after – 52 kg

– Two years ago I had an operation to remove veins due to varicose veins. To keep myself in shape, I went to the pool, then tried joint gymnastics, aero yoga. And then she chose the tough classes altogether – CrossFit! Could I imagine at my 58 years old that at 60 I would jump from a place onto a 50-centimeter pedestal? And now what I do not do during training: 50 burpees, 75 knee push-ups, 100 squats, 150 torso lifts on the floor, more exercises with dumbbells, with a barbell, with a kettlebell.

I don’t go on any diets because I have very busy days. I don’t need diets: everything burns out like in a furnace, and there are no more bouts of overeating – the body itself rejects the excess. In my training, I intend to go further, to do more. My goal is to celebrate my 70th birthday in great shape and in good health.

Svetlana Miroshkina, 63 years old, height – 156 cm, pensioner, Novosibirsk

Weight up to – 78 kg, weight after – 56 kg

– Three years ago I discovered a new unexpected world – pole dancing, otherwise Pole Dance. I took hold of myself and lost more than a quarter of my weight. Since childhood, I dreamed of connecting my life with dancing, I wanted to become a ballerina, but the circumstances were higher than my dreams. Three years ago, a girl with a photo on a pole in her profile asked to be my friend on social networks. Seeing this picture, I realized that I want the same picture!

Of course, at first doubts crept in. I well understood that I was 60 years old, and sport is for young people. I thought, doubted, but still made up my mind. And on April 12, on Cosmonautics Day, I took off to the pylon! It took off, of course, it is loudly said – it rather crawled. The first workout was given to me with great difficulty. Besides, it was uncomfortable – there were young girls around! But the girls and the coach greeted me warmly, explained that the training session would last an hour and a half and would consist of two parts. The first part is a 40-minute warm-up, the second is an introduction to the pole. At that time I “carried” 78 kg of my beloved body, it was not easy to climb the pole! But with a stretch, I was lucky and my hands are strong enough because of the profession. At the very first training session, I realized that it was time to get myself in good physical shape, so in addition to regular workouts, I signed up for the gym twice a week, plus I worked out at home every day – swinging my legs (2 sets of 40 times) and abs.

Along with my lifestyle, my diet changed: I replaced meat with fish, excluded noodles, potatoes. The morning started with light food: vegetable salad, apple, banana. Before breakfast I began to drink a glass of warm water. True, in the evenings she could have gorged on sweets or something else. But the coaches did not scold, they knew that in the class I would burn all the calories. Thus, in the first 3-4 months, I threw off 10 kilograms. Pole tricks have become much easier. I continued to train and lose weight. Now my weight is 56 kilograms.

Marina Markova, 34 years old, height – 170 cm, the owner of a beauty salon, Vladimir

Weight up to – 91 kg, weight after – 64 kg

– I have lived with great weight for more than ten years. In her youth she was slim, but after the birth of her first child, she began to gain kilograms. The reason is simple: poor diet. Food has become a stress management tool. I decided to fight and turned to a nutritionist friend.

I began to lose weight gradually. The main rule is not to overeat, eat often, but in small portions – 200 g. At first, I had eight meals a day, then the number of meals was reduced to five. In the morning I ate breakfast, then there was lunch, afternoon tea, dinner from simple dishes 3-4 hours before bedtime. Right before going to bed, I could drink kefir or eat fruit. After eating, I stopped drinking tea – this is not recommended, but I ate tangerines with pleasure. The hardest part was getting myself to drink water. She left the bottles at work, in the car, in order to remember her more often.

The extra 27 kg went away in a year, I reached a weight that suits me – 64 kg.

Each of the heroines of the article showed incredible tenacity and willpower. However, this does not mean that losing weight according to their method will work for you. There is no universal way to lose those extra pounds; each approach must be individual. Therefore, we asked a nutritionist Marina Bessonova talk about the features of a low-calorie diet like the Malysheva diet, about the food pyramid and the effectiveness of fitness.

“The daily caloric intake for each person is calculated individually, depending on age, gender, weight and height,” answered Marina Bessonova. – And for safe weight loss, it is enough to reduce it by only 20% of the calculated individual norm.

А hypocaloric diet like the Malysheva diet – with a calorie restriction of up to 800 kcal per day is NOT a healthy version and can lead to sad consequences. It does not take into account the human need for complete proteins and healthy fats. Such diets should not be practiced on their own, only strictly under the supervision of a doctor and control of basic health indicators.

In addition, these diets cannot be used for a long time. Yes, it is possible that such a sharp restriction of nutrition will lead to rapid weight loss, but in the long term, this, firstly, will inevitably lead to a rollback and a person will begin to eat even more. And secondly, serious health problems are fraught, especially in women, reproductive function will be at risk.

Food pyramid – these are very general recommendations, and this information is simply not enough for a person to achieve weight loss goals. And again, it does not take into account individual characteristics, which are extremely important in all matters related to the health of our body.

In general, any kind of fitness, as a way to lose weight, cannot be considered in isolation from the correction of the diet and diet. CrossFitfor an unprepared person with significant overweight, it may turn out to be too radical physical activity, which can significantly damage health, then there will be no talk of any weight loss.

It is the same with pylon… As a hobby, yes. As a way to lose weight – no! First, we adjust the diet, remove the so-called food waste, eliminate macro- and micronutrient deficiencies, and build a physiological daily routine. And sport becomes support. Moreover, it is important to maintain physical activity at the level of 8000 steps per day. And connect the intensive load later. “
