😉 Greetings to everyone who wandered into this site! Dear reader, in this article I share with you the revelations of how to live without debt. My history…
Life without debt
Half of my life has gone from paycheck to paycheck, but a week before this paycheck, money always ran out … There was no savings book, like many others, in our family. Our family never parted with debts, debts were faithful companions of life. Then I got married and again the same picture – there was always not enough money.
Late opening
So we lived until I came across the book by George Samuel Clayson “The Richest Man in Babylon.” Here the author reveals the secret of the well-being of many people.
The book, as it turned out, is a world bestseller, which was read by every millionaire at the beginning of his life. It’s a shame that the book did not come across to me earlier. But as they say, better late than never.
Very often we do not live the way we would like. The presence or absence of money plays a large role in the ability of people to cope with life’s difficulties. The Richest Man in Babylon was published in 1926. It has become the ultimate guide to personal finance management for many.
Every month we receive a salary and pay it back in full for food, for clothes, for housing, for the Internet, for entertainment …
We pay everyone, but we pay nothing to OURSELVES!
How to live without debt? Everything is very simple: you need to pay yourself from the amount of salary and other cash receipts 10% – put aside in savings. The main thing is to do it systematically.
Everything is just brilliant! And this is not a discovery. Many, knowing this simple secret, live without debt and enjoy life! But no one taught me this before reading the magic book.
First steps
I decided to try it. Everything worked out! 10% was set aside from each cash receipt. Then I took the accumulated small amount to the bank to save it from inflation. The account was periodically replenished … Two years ago I opened a $ -account (I was interested in forecasts of currency behavior). The money began to grow.
We won!
As time went on, 10% were slowly doing their job. We lived without debt, the opportunity to travel the world appeared. This is how I learned to live without debt.
It has been proven that you can live on 27 as well as on 000. These 30% even discipline, force you to go to the market and to stores with a list of products or things that you need.
And today’s shops are an ocean of temptations! Try to resist! It is not simple. Money is spent on various little things that catch the eye outside of the list compiled in advance. In stores, all goods are “traps”, they are arranged according to a special “science of temptations”, but this is another topic.
In my article “Books that successful people read” I noted the book “The richest man in Babylon”, today for those who have not read this book, my information will be useful. The Richest Man in Babylon is just 78 pages long. It can be found on the Internet: buy, download or read – there are many options.
Be sure to read it, you will not regret it, you will learn a lot of useful things for yourself. I am sure that this particular book will change your life for the better. This is the answer to the question: how to live without debt.
A secret from ancient Babylon
In Ancient Babylon there lived a very rich man named Arkad. There were legends about his wealth. And he had some friends of his youth who came to him one day and said:
– You, Arkad, are more fortunate than we. We were once on an equal footing. We studied with one teacher. We played some games. And neither in school nor in games did you surpass us. Why, tell me, did the capricious fate choose you to give you the joys of life, and bypassed us?
And then Arkad answered them:
– I opened the way to wealth when I decided that I should keep a part of everything I earned for myself. Receiving my earnings, I put aside every tenth coin I earned. And, oddly enough, I did not become poorer from this.
I hardly noticed the difference that now I had less money left to spend. True, I was often tempted to buy myself some of those beautiful things, but I wisely abstained.
– Then what would you advise us so that we get rich too? – asked one of the friends.
– Determine how much of your earnings you can save. Try to keep it at least one tenth. And put it aside immediately. You will soon understand what a great feeling it is to feel that you are the owner of a treasure to which only you alone have the right.
As your savings grow, this feeling will become a powerful stimulus. Your life will be filled with a new joyful sensation. You will feel a surge of strength and energy that will allow you to earn even more. And the more you can save.
Enjoy life while you are alive. Do not overexert yourself and do not try to save more than reasonable. If, after saving a tenth of your earnings, you continue to live comfortably, stop at that fraction.
Live on your income, but don’t be afraid to spend money either. Life is rich, and you should not give up its pleasures. “
