How to keep warm at home without heating when heating is on

It’s getting colder outside, and the sun shines less often. Our apartments are also cooling down, and we still have to live until the heating season. According to the norms, they will begin to supply heat to houses after the average daily temperature on the street lasts 5 days at a level below +8 degrees.
Someone is lucky, and the radiators are already hot to the delight of cats and people. And for those who are freezing in anticipation of the season, we have found 13 ways to keep warm.
There are three options. The first is heating socks. They are dipped in special warming bags that come with the kit. The bags are placed in the microwave, heated for 30 seconds, and the socks are ready. The manufacturer assures: socks-heating pads do not burn and are able to warm up for 1,5 – 2 hours.
The second option is socks that are heated by batteries. One battery is enough for each sock.
The third option is USB socks. The heat source can be either a computer or a charger, or a mobile phone. At this point, how long the charge will last.
Now you don’t have to carry hot water basins out of the bathroom. Another USB-powered device is the funny plush slippers. Soft, pleasant to the touch, they also warm perfectly.
Such a blanket will warm you instantly. Moreover, the temperature can be regulated. The blanket heats up from 15 to 50 degrees.
The most obvious way to keep warm, albeit not the most budgetary one. If you want to save on electricity, go for infrared. Oil heaters and fan heaters heat the indoor air. And infrared heats objects in the room: walls, floor, furniture and inhabitants of the house. Film IFC heaters can be mounted on the wall and even on the ceiling.
Budgetary and simple. You can make a heater from two clay flower pots. They keep warm well, staying hot for several hours. To warm a room, two of these heaters will be enough. Most importantly, do not place it near flammable objects and keep children and animals away from the pots – it is very hot inside the pots!

Red brick keeps heat well, which is why it is used in the construction of fireplaces. But if you do not have a fireplace, but you need to warm up, we put the bricks in the included oven. Set the temperature to maximum and wait for the stones to heat up. After that, be sure to turn off the oven and open the door – the heat from the bricks will warm up the kitchen. Attention, do not leave the included oven unattended, as well as overnight. In addition, the method is not suitable for gas stoves – it is dangerous.
We saw this method on one of the forums. Pour a couple of kilograms of salt on a baking sheet. We put it in the oven, turn on the minimum temperature. We close the oven door halfway. “It’s warm, and you won’t get sick, even your head doesn’t hurt,” connoisseurs assure.
How nice it is, having ducked under the covers, to find yourself in a warm bed. But if no one has warmed it up before you, take a heating pad or plastic bottle, fill them with hot water and put them under the blanket. So a warm bed will always be waiting for you.
It’s not for nothing that baby diapers are made of flannel. It is soft, does not require special care, and most importantly, it is very warm and cozy.
Or a foam stick, which is used in the pool for swimming and water aerobics. It costs such a penny, and how many useful things can be made from noodles. Cut the stick lengthwise into halves. And then overlay these halves on your doors. Now the warm air will remain inside, and no drafts will be scary.
Open the curtains when it’s bright and clear outside. Seemingly simple and obvious advice, but many people forget about it.
