Different hormones come to the fore in different phases of the cycle. Initially, under the influence of estrogen, the endometrium grows and the Graafian follicle begins to mature. At the end of the phase, estrogens increase in strength and ovulation begins. The rupture of the follicle is accompanied by the formation of the corpus luteum responsible for progesterone, in response to which optimal conditions for fertilization are created. Body temperature rises half a degree. If the embryo does not implant in the wall of the uterus, the hormones stabilize, the lining of the uterus is shed, resulting in monthly bleeding.
Changes in libido throughout the cycle
- Bleeding gives rise to a new cycle. Hormones are kept low, hence the lack of desire for intercourse. We suffer from fatigue and heaviness, lack of concentration and hypersensitivity to pain. In the other half we see tenderness.
- On the seventh day, thanks to low progesterone, we have a cheerful mood. The production of DHEA, i.e. the so-called the love hormone, as well as estrogen and testosterone. We are full of vitality, we look younger and more beautiful. On the 10th day there is the greatest appetite for carnal love. The sensations become more expressive than on other days of the cycle. We look at men through rose-colored glasses.
- Day 12 initiates ovulation. Estrogens along with progesterone are at a high level, which translates into self-confidence and willingness to have intercourse, during which we are ready to implement our innermost fantasies. We reach the climax extremely quickly, and in addition, the increased humidity during ovulation makes bed exploits even more enjoyable.
- In the absence of fertilization, on the 18th day, cortisol and progesterone increase in strength, estrogen levels decrease. We fall into a gloomy mood, so we look for warmth and tenderness, and we want to make carnal love without haste.
- On the 26th day of the cycle, under the guise of a delicate person, a beast begins to peek, ready to stick to anything, whose mood a man will never be able to keep up with. The body accumulates water, we suffer from swelling, the breasts are extremely sensitive, headaches and skin problems occur. Estrogens are on the decline killing the desire for sex to the rest.
