- Sew the fold to the main canvas with a herringbone stitch, make sure that no threads are visible on the front side.
- Bend the corner of the shelf gently. If the fabric is too thick, then it is better to cut it a little.
- Iron the finished product from the inside out.

How to hem a lined coat for a perfect fit

- Connect the bottom of the coat and the edge of the lining, make sure that the bottom fabric is not stretched, otherwise the finished product will not fit well on the figure. Sew on by hand or on a typewriter.
- Iron the finished product from the wrong side.
If the inner fabric is warm, you do not need to sew it to the hem. It is enough just to bend and stitch a little.
