The weight of years, even if it is more important for the dog than for the human being, sometimes has no influence on the dog.

All gradual change in behavior is an indicator in itself. If you happen to say to yourself “Before, he used to do that, now he doesn’t do it anymore, or he does it less”is that your dog is inevitably aging.

If he seems to have less energy, if he has more hard to get up from his basket, if he sleep more, and seems less greedy et less playfulis that he feels the weight of his age.

Be careful, however, if these changes are sudden, it is because they are not necessarily related to age and may reveal a pathology underlying. In this case, it is better to consult your veterinarian.
